I don't understand why people calling DOTA 2 dead game. It's still one of the best games (I know its loosing and getting few new players). I mean if you are watching all live games you would feel the hype of the games. Also liquid dominated throughout the series and no team had any answers for their drafts. It's not like they let them get these snowball hero's. They banned the successful hero's like sk, beastmaster, doom, naga, also tusk sometimes but there was no answer from any team for their drafts. LIQUID played impeccable games and GG also played really well. So I still appreciate this game. Its fun....(I mean we have come from supports really sacrificial for wards, courier upgrade, low leveled games to really good surviving team fights so we can enjoy the game. It's us who need to appreciate the game and not just blame).
Dota is not dead, but Valve did everything to kill it. Dota was their money printing machine, they did everything to make gameplay boring but more interesting to watch, so they ended up with people only watching and never playing. The game GG vs Tundra is absolutely awful and disgusting, it's just a buyback after a buyback after a buyback after a buyback, you literally win not because of some skills but because your hero can do more impact after dying 3 times (with Aegis) than the enemy's hero. So now it's not interesting to watch, because it's boring and the games are heavily one-sided, and it's not interesting to play either.

For those saying why don't they "ban prophet", prophet was not the problem despite Liquid picking it up first in all three games. It was the heroes around prophet, the saves from Tusk, the decisions to take control from a single fight victory and the overall understanding of the game that was predominant in Liquid.
prophet absolutely wrecks their GG. GG kept getting picked solo farming exactly because of prophet. Prophet allowed their supports to be so much confident than they need to be that's why we kept seeing them as "the star" of the game.
Nature prophet with Ironwood Treant was another version of Lone Druid for Liquid very strong lane phase not strong as LD but has global playing capability.
Liquid absolutely deserve it. Not a single match lost. They made TI look like boring pubs because they are way too good. Every single player is absolutely the best in their role. Especially in the offlane department, 33 is an absolute monster, no other pos3 came close
GG won Riyadh vs Liquid Liquid won TI vs GG GG took more money, MUCH MORE (no taxes in Saudi Arabia), Liquid got the prestige of having their name on the Aegis (7 places remaning on the Aegis). Dota 2 is clearly dying, Valve did the minimum for this TI (only one hero, nothing else for the future of Dota). Seems like the game is shrinking everywhere except maybe CIS region. Dota is not really a thing anymore in China, its regressing in absolutely all regions except CIS. I truly think that the GIGA MASSIVE prize pools of TI played a MAJOR ROLE in the marketing of DOTA 2, the end of those giga prize pool truly hurt the game, not that every player wanna be pro, but those prize pools gave DOTA 2 the image of the "ultimate esport game", "the game where the money is", "the game of all records"....... Its been 13 TI, basically 13 years of DOTA 2, and it is difficult to admit that the game is dying and that Valve is fine with that. Both Volvo and IceFrog swithed to DealLock, no more love for DOTA. 33 lifting the aegis also meant more then it looks. Not only he's now two TI winners, but he really is the last piece of the puzzle for Liquid. His claim that they will win against GG isn't a prediction, but a spoiler.
THIS TI IS LOWKEY ONE OF THE WORST ALL OF THE MAIN STAGE GAMES ARE 2-0 SWEEP BESIDE THE GG VS TUNDRA SERIES AND GAME 3 IS THE ONLY EXCITING GAME.

I am just sad for people saying the final was boring, those fast paced non-stop teamfights are just amazing
Booooooooring
the hype its not there no more
imagine from $40m to $2m plus the inflation lol
Nah, it's boring. Liquid is boring when they play and now they are against gg another boring ass team. Now you get a boring finals so lackluster, no good moments unlike the past ti's.
the people saying its boring dont play dota. theyre just sad dota is more fun and action packed than their game.
They hate it because team spirit, topson, quinn dropped the ball. let them cope.
For anyone saying, the game 2 Puck bug lost GG the game. You guys are delusional, he played really bad that game 2 to begin with.
I have deleted dota for 2-3 years and I forgot there's Ti every year, the last ti I remember was around 30million but now is only 2 million?

Is it just me or LB finals was more exciting than the grand finals
Congrats to Liquid tho
It was pretty much sole exciting series in the TI. Fast paced aura build meta sucks , it's even more boring than wraith pact abuses. Peoples were saying TI 2016 was boring well i think title have to change.
@@ArcticDucq Was basically just game 3 of LB final, game 2 of Falcons vs Betboom in LB and game 2 of Falcons vs Tundra in UB that were noteworthy in the whole playoffs bracket.
@@ArcticDucqnahh that wraith pact meta was so damn boring not even close. This finals boring because its gaimin gladiators any other team would actually show a fight.

Why not ban Nature Prophet and Tusk? Why let them have the same heros and tried to figure out how to deal with them?
Since TI 8 the game has a lot of bugs or OP skills that hard to be countered. Shit TI
GG plays well pre-finals but honestly it should've been between Tundra and Liquid. Those 2 would have given us spectators hell of games, no doubt.
Also, how GG succumbed to 0-3 is baffling. Seems they lucked out with all their wins pre-final. Oh well..Liquid winning it is good too as they played really well and stayed on top all the way until Finals. Kudos to Liquid!
Nisha's puck was untouchable, boxi's willow & tusk is such a playmaker, and we gotta credit micke bcos he deals so much dmg its just that its overshadowed bcos he just stands there hitting everyone
Nisha puck was absolute highlight at the international. What a performance on puck even getting a rampage on it
Too small prizepool. No excitiement. It's sad that being the best in the biggest esports game earns you this little. I wish valve could bring back the battlepass to help the pros earn what they truly deserve.
Is TI still the biggest in esports ? I thought LoL took over at being the biggest ? Or some other tournament.
I usually only watch dota during the TI but it seems viewership has gone down overall. I might be mistaken though. The International was always a banger to look forward too.
@@mitchruby4716 TI10 has the most at $40 mil. TI5-TI11 hold the top spots with TI5 being the lowest prize pool at $18.5 mil. 2019 solo fornite is the first non TI to make the list at $15.2 mil

Congratz to team Liquid, especially Insania, my man has been constant and grinding for so long
The reaction of liquid winning TI was about the same as them winning a scrim lol......Remember last year when Zai won the game at a nail biter with brood.....they celebrated that more than this haha
The final boss at the international was team liquid who went undefeated the whole main event not losing a single map. Even the great gaimin gladiators couldn't beat them. Team liquid were at their peak and destroyed gg the same gg did to them at ewc. What a dominant performance
*The Greatest Redemption Arc* in the History of Dota. I'm really glad seeing Nisha finnaly lifting the Aegis 🛡️ Congrats Team Liquid 🐴💙
Insania too. After his blunder in TI9. 😁
I REMEMBER HOW TEAM LIQUID WINNING TI7 3-0 IN NEWBEE, AND NOW TI13 TEAM LIQUID GOT 3-0 OVER AGAIN! WHAT A NICE.
Gaimin gladiator relied too heavily on Ace's timing, when Ace having a hard laning phase (or even draw on that matters) the entirety of GG loses their tempo. Ace is the only reason GG are able go that far
yup, I did see that too. when ever ace had bad positioning they lose it

Nisha puck is legendary
Good god Liquid played on a completely different level compared to every other team. They have suffered through so much together, and stuck through it all (obviously a few roster changes.) Well fought, and truly deserved, regardless of the TI downfall. Blitz, well done, brother!!!

@@tehmaid Dota2 was always so down in the dirt considering Valves income u can't even understand if u think tht few tens of millions from compendiums means anythin compared to steam, my sweet sweet summer child do i have a news for u..

@@tehmaid I play the game fairly regularly and a decade of playing I never once got bored of the game and its crazy meta shakeups and patches throughout the years. Playing fast quick games in 20-30 minutes doesn't bore whichever side I'm on but I'll also happily play long games. Obviously the former games are gonna suck for pro dota viewing but there's no way I find late game competitive Dota going the distance past 45 minutes as "boring".
DOTA is not dead YET. However, we cannot deny that it is declining.
Quinn cancelling phase shift with the waning rift swap and eating a daedalus tree toss is peak dota. GG Liquid.
Insania, from gyro meme to champion, what a journey
Congratulations for team liquid and 33 for their second aegis !!!
happy to see one specific player from GG losing again :)
every team facing GG in the Grand finals of TI is an easy win falcons or thundra may give the GF game very exciting..
How far TI has fallen. Did anyone even know this event was even happening this month? I sure the hell didn't.
Yeah..just look at the prizepool too low 2mil something..the previous prize was even higher.. 2021 was the crazy 40mil..dota slowly a death game..
It happens the same time every year lol. But I understand what you are saying. The game has died a bit since years ago
I def hear you on this. League has 10x the player base, yet I still have no interest in playing league. The nostalgia of coming back to Dota 2 is too strong. Is the game actually dying?
@@wherlz3052 TI used to occur during summer. Typically in early-mid august qualifiers would occur early-mid summer. The actual tournament occurred in August. In 2020 they postponed Ti10 due to covid and various countries locking down.

For those saying why don't they "ban prophet", prophet was not the problem despite Liquid picking it up first in all three games. It was the heroes around prophet, the saves from Tusk, the decisions to take control from a single fight victory and the overall understanding of the game that was predominant in Liquid.
Nature prophet is not the problem nisha boxi combi is the problem of Gaimin
prophet absolutely wrecks their GG. GG kept getting picked solo farming exactly because of prophet. Prophet allowed their supports to be so much confident than they need to be that's why we kept seeing them as "the star" of the game.
@@davidl.e5203 natures prophet always pick is the Liquids bait
Gaimin fall for it 😆😆😆
Sad to gaimin
Nature prophet with Ironwood Treant was another version of Lone Druid for Liquid very strong lane phase not strong as LD but has global playing capability.
Liquid absolutely deserve it. Not a single match lost. They made TI look like boring pubs because they are way too good. Every single player is absolutely the best in their role. Especially in the offlane department, 33 is an absolute monster, no other pos3 came close
Blitz saying in the interview why he is in formal attire now hits hard.
The amount of 33 having his heroes banned and still stomping is just showcasing how he is the best offlane rn.
GG won Riyadh vs Liquid
Liquid won TI vs GG
GG took more money, MUCH MORE (no taxes in Saudi Arabia), Liquid got the prestige of having their name on the Aegis (7 places remaning on the Aegis).
I remember people denying the slow death of team fortress 2 back then.......thinking "why valve would stop making big money by selling hats lololol", we know how it ended.
Anyway : that was cool 13 years.
Taxes will be applied as per the rule of the receiver country I assume.

The first Ti team with 100% winrate
They lose 2 times tho, against team spirit but only in the group stage
In the Play-Offs
The lost 2 Games in Groupstage and 1 Game in Decider
