No. 13 Virginia Tech earned a hard-fought win at home against Syracuse, 78-64. Liz Kitley’s 20 points led her team in the win, and she added 11 boards. The Hokies held Cuse to just 37% shooting from the floor while maintaining a +10 edge on the glass. Cayla King had a 19-point evening to go with 7 rebounds and 4 assists. For the Orange, Dyaisha Fair had another 20-point performance, as she’d add 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the loss.
