It would be really cool to eventually see Samurai Warriors or Sengoku Basara characters in Soul Calibur. Soul Calibur takes place at the same time as the Sengoku Jidai, which is what Samurai Warriors and Sengoku Basara are all about, and some historical figures who are playable in the SW and SB series are mentioned in Soul Calibur, such as Oda Nobunaga being the reason for Yoshimitsu's journey, and I know that at least Shimazu Yoshihiro was mentioned in SC6's Libra of Souls mode. Soul Calibur characters making it into Samurai Warriors for a hypothetical story or at least being Free Mode or other side mode-exclusive would also be cool to see at least for the novelty value. Not having played much Sengoku Basara, however, I'm not sure how the Soul Calibur characters would be able to fit into that series. I at least know that 3 had a more open-ended and hypothetical-based story structure in that you decide which battle comes next and had some secrets such as unlocking Akechi Mitsuhide and Oda Nobunaga, so Soul Calibur characters would at least be able to fit in a game with that kind of structure some. I also thought of that an Onimusha crossover on either side would be great, too.

I have headcanon (and may as well be) that Tekken implies that the Satsui-no-Hado is the devil gene. Akuma references a debt to Kazumi, but what was it? I think he trained so hard that he pushed his body's limits and almost died. Somehow, Kazumi found him and offered him the power he was looking for, albeit one that strips a person of their humanity and only lust for more. But man, I love SC6 so much. I do CPUvCPU matches for my custom characters more than I do actual play lol. You can literally make your own Witcher, even YoRHa android if that's your thing lol. I've made some pretty decent characters like John Wick and Johnny Silverhand (an armor piece that's just one metal arm inspired me) with convincing Keanu voices. I even made Deadpool, based on the 4th-wall breaking character voice that sounds almost like Nolan North. It's almost like they wanted people to make DP, but it took some serious creativity to give him a convincing hood. Plus he only looks good with Maxi's style, because its hyper lol.
Number 1 and 2 were pretty much interchangeable for me. I mainly picked TMNT as Number 1 since it's a series that has been popular for longer, but Spawn didn't suffer from the minor issues I had with TMNT, like reusing lines in intros, so there was either more love or just a bigger budget put into his character.
@@MrTopTenList Nah man you had it right 100%. TBHHH i think Joker actually outshined spawn but Spawn was requested for so long its only right he takes the spot but TMNT was undoubtable one of the biggest reveals and surprises not just in guess characters but how they function. Your point about Haohmaru and Nakoruru being the go-to crossover characters is especially funny when they showed up in KoFXV alongside Darli, whi had only been in a single Samurai Shōdown game and that's it.
I don't knwo what topic, but it would be neat having you talk about the ace combat presence in tekken. like a crossovers that aren't acknowledged in universe.

Thank God Geese got a mention. He absolutely deserves a spot, he really fit into the lore & his gameplay wasn't too overturned like Akuma post season 3.
Of all the fighting game developers, Neatherrealms undoubtedly has the best guest fighters, and most of them (minus the inclusion of 3 Mortal Kombatants in Injustice 1&2) have all fit in really well with my personal favorites being Spawn, Freddy Kruger, Alien, Hellboy, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Namco might be a close 2nd in which though there are some guests that I didn't care for such as Noctus and Starkiller (sorry dudes), majority of them I like such as Gon, Akuma, and Geese Howard for Tekken, and on the Soul Calibur side, Spawn, Kratos, Darth Vader, Yoda, and Link just to name a few. Speaking of Link, I also like the majority of Super Smash Bros Ultimate guests such as Banjo-Kazooie and Simon Belmont. And most recently, I absolutely love Godzilla and Ultraman in the indie kaiju fighting game, Gigabash. Unfortunately, I can't give the same praise to SNK and instead ridicule them for picking some of the worst guest characters in history. With the exception of Hibiki and Baiken, the rest for Samurai Shodown are hot garbage and ruined the game for me and why i stopped playing it. Nobody wants lame characters in this game like The Warden and Gongsun Li (bunnygirl), but SNK themselves just to shamefully force product placement into every person's face. There are plenty of original fighters such as Gen-An, Nicotine, Siegar, and Zankuro that people actually wanted in the game that SNK chose to ignore and carelessly push aside. Worse, there are plenty of better guests such as Afro Samurai, Guts, Conan the Barbarian, and Lady Snowblood who would have fit the game so much better. But no, the idoits at SNK chose a dumbass knight and stupid bunny waifu. Because of this, I am not getting my hopes up for Fatal Fury City of the Wolves, as I'm worried that SNK is planning on vomiting more crappy online multi-player or mobile game guest characters from Call of Duty, Fortnite, For Honor, Apex Legends, Overwatch, League of Legends, Raid Shadow Legends, and a Chinese mobile MMORPG game.
The guest characters of Samurai Shodown are from games that are very popular in Japan. The games that you are talking about, however, are not. So those characters aren't going in.
List of fame fighting games and guest characters you have forgotten: Xmen Children of the Atom: Akuma Marvel Super Heroes: Annita from the Darkstalker series Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter: Norimaro Japanese only version, based on the comedian Noritake Kinashi Tatsunoko Vs Capcom: Hakushon Daimao Japanese only version* Now to the Smash series: Smash is supposed to be a Nintendo fighting festival BUT Smash Bros Brawl added to guest characters from other companies, Sonic and Solid Snake Then the 3ds version added Cloud! And Smash Bros Ultimate added: Steve from Minecraft, Banjoe and Kazooie, The protagonist from the Persona series and from Kingdom Hearts. And possibly some more I am forgetting right now. But it also added terry Bogard, Ryu and Ken. From that list you just referenced Terry being in Smash but nobody else. None of the above characters belong to the corresponding universe of that time. PS: Hakushon Daimaio no longer belongs to Tatsunoko entertainment, it was obtained by YTV and thus technically it was a guest character and so it remained in the Japanese version of TvC and never became obtainable in the worldwide IP of the game.
He only appears in the PS3 version. He was DLC for the Xbox 360 version, but the DLC and the digital game itself has been delisted on both platforms. Similarly, Yoda cannot be downloaded on the PS3 version anymore either.
@@MrTopTenList Oh thanks, form the video It sounded like the classics version contained the DLC similar to a GOTY edition. I have the og release and still regret not getting Vader when I could back in the day.
KI 2013 is a great game! Rash appeared on my Questionable Guest List (which was praising him for his playstyle and breaking the 4th wall. Questionable was not a bad thing for that video) and Arbiter was on the Fitting Guest Character video 2016, so he was released before the start date of eligible guests. Only RAAM was eligible for this list, who I thought was a weaker guest than the other guys. However, I still think he bird mechanic was cool and probably could've made the list if I needed one more character.
I don't remember the exact number, but the DLC really filled out the game to feel like a true game. It didn't even have voice actors when it was released, so the final product was a full fighting game worth the price.
If Link never appeared in the Soul Calibur games, I never would have gotten into that series. It's my go to fighting game now, for it replaced Street Fighter lol. SC V almost ruined the franchise though. Thank goodness VI was good. 4 is still my fav though because I love Pamala. Talim's still best girl though (and one of my fav video game chars of all time). But yes, Link got me to play it.
When I was young, seeing Link in Soul Calibur II was beyond epic, like a real life changing moment coming from being a fan of the first game. The music, the voice acting, it was Link from Ocarina of Time with all his weapons available. In my opinion it's still the greatest crossover in any fighting game. Nowadays is quite common to expect these collaborations and to see them teased and leaked. Not diminishing the value of today's standards since a lot them are made with huge amounts of respect to the source material. But at that point Link from The Legend of Zelda was gaming's biggest icon. The only other one that comes to mind was when Solid Snake was confirmed for Brawl (in the context that guest characters were not as common as they are today). My favorite modern guest character has to be Predator in MKX, he just fits. My wish for future guests would be the Power Rangers in Injustice 3, or a KOF character in SF6.
Actually never mind, the guest character that could completely blow my mind would be either Fulgore, Spinal or Jago from Killer Instinct in MK11. Their movesets are just full of fucking potential.
Something to say about Hibiki and her franchise, if SNK don’t make anymore games for The Lost Blade franchise, then they could take those characters and put them in KOF.
Link in Soul Calibur 2 will forever be the greatest crossover in games period. Fun Fact: Cloud Strife was set to be the playstation exclusive character initially but Square backed out last second so Namco had to use their own character (Heihachi) due to limited time.

@@MrTopTenList I hadn't noticed, but I'll keep an eye out for it!
I've sunk so many hours into CAS. I was just updating a character and sharing screenshots on Steam *while listening to your video!*
For all my FE3H characters except for Shez, if you break their armor they turn into something summer inspired, often based on an actual outfit they've had in a game.
@@MrTopTenList I didn't play V to know how detailed it's CAS was. I just do what I can in VI with a lot of effort, working with colors, patterns, stickers, and the bonus item slots. It's still more limited than I think it needs to be.
Really wished the Power rangers game had more ranger versions of Guest characters...
Original Blue ranger. Not a fan of the one they have. And it's the only one
Still waiting for Ash Williams to show up in Mortal Kombat.
Geese Howard in Tekken was probably one of the most fitting of all time for me
It's actually better to have Team Ninja make their own OC Nicole Spartan-458 for DOA4 because the Halo team made Nicole's inclusion in the game canon in the Halo Universe. I feel like that kind of deal is win-win-win for Team Nina because including all that, this was back when the front and back covers of games were what sold and falsely suggesting it was Master Chief might've landed them a few extra sales.
I didn't even know that a Showdown character got into Soul Cal.
21:22 WTF I did not except to see Baoh in this video!😲 You sir get a 10/10 video from me
lol thank you! It's cool how he got a spot in a modern JoJos game, so I'm glad I could share! I mostly know him through the OVA, but it got me interested in checking out the source material eventually.
Omg!
I never would have thought that a Power Rangers game would get such epic crossover characters!😮
okay you talking about the sentai stuff in ryu and chun li, you're awesome
Thank you! DungeonDiveBar Sam from my Yugioh videos helped me with the Sentai trivia since he's been emerged in both Sentai and Power Rangers for awhile. He sends me Sentai stuff all the time to look at, so I pick up on it and have gotten to really respect the art of it.
@@MrTopTenList sounds like he and i would get along

Jimmy: “Bouncy bouncy bouncy!”
Top Axe users. (Asteroth (Soul Calibur), Labrys (P4A), Xu Huang (Dynasty Warriors), Hector (Fire Emblem), Belmonts (Castlevania), etc.)
Honorable mention: Banjo & Kazooie in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Geese fits in in Tekken, since Fatal Fury had the Lane Change gimmick in it's playstyle.

Arika is working on a 3d fighing game of fighting ex layer, with terry returning.
Kyo In SSBU: Hi Terry, Have you seen Mai ?
Terry: Sakurai told me She's in Dead Or Alive, since this game is for Good Boys And Girls
Kyo: Ah I see.
Kyo why are you a bean boy and why is also mai
Every time i see him in any video i just miss him. You know whom i am talking about. 😢😢😢
Plus he only looks good with Maxi's style, because its hyper lol.
when you talked about dead or alive you forget to mention Naotora ii from samurai warriors 4 ll
Pretty good video, but ya didn’t include Godzilla (& Ultraman) in the recent kaiju fighting game, GigaBash….wow
Spawn should've been number 1, he's by far the best guest character in fighting games.
I think its a small gap between tmnt and joker/spawn but i think its an even bigger gap between the next set of guess characters(I am American though) lol
Idk if you did this yet, but top 10 Platform fighting games
So glad I have all the kof dlc for doa5, didn't know it was delisted btw her fire effects look better in 5
Please tell me ezio please tell me u had ezio in the 2016 vid
SInce did the "one per game series," he was not since Link is SC2 took the Soulcalibur spot, but I really like Ezio's playstyle, so maybe I can sneak him on another list to talk about the guest spot.
@MrTopTenList oops I didn't mean to put please tell me twice lol. But yeah he's fun and I love his assassins creed games
Geese Howard is the best, most hype fighting game guest of all time, but Kazuya Mishima's inclusion in Smash Ultimate is the most appropriate because that game is all about throwing people off of cliffs.
10:59 eventually we did get Master Chief in a fighting game
DoA 4 has a spartan
@@TheNaturalGamer1 I'm talking about brawlhalla
@@JuanGomez-ke5py that's not an actual fighting game
Your point about Haohmaru and Nakoruru being the go-to crossover characters is especially funny when they showed up in KoFXV alongside Darli, whi had only been in a single Samurai Shōdown game and that's it.
Here's Mine
10. Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VIII (Super Smash Bros U)
9. Haohmaru from Samurai Showdown (Soulcalibur Vi)
8. Freddy Kruger (Mortal Kombat 9):
7. Akuma (Tekken 7)
6. Ryu and Chun li (Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid)
5. Predator (Mortal Kombat X)
4. Spawn (Mortal Kombat 11)
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Injustice 2)
2. Sora (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)
1. Sonic The Hedgehog (Super Smash Bros. Brawl, 4, Ultimate)
SC3 did has Non-guest character but only in character creation and that is KOS-MOS from XenoSaga
You could also create Devil Jin in that game too
True but Devil Jin doesn’t have his actual creation outfit instead of his chains
you forgot to mention that Keith david was also the Arbiter in halo 2 + 3 and julius in saints row 1 and 2
Also Captain Anderson from the Mass Effect series.
I don't knwo what topic, but it would be neat having you talk about the ace combat presence in tekken. like a crossovers that aren't acknowledged in universe.
Top Ten Necromancer 💀🖤☠️
Akira isn't a guest character, because rival schools is a part of the street fighter universe, just like the final fight series.
Watching all these list i wonder, is Mortal Kombat your favorite Fighting game franchise ??

Should've included Kratos in MK9
I'm looking forward to 2b in granblue fantasy versus rising this her second guest appearance
guilty gear samurai shodown have both been in crossover with each other also king of fighters and Blazbule before in overly dramatic music the RPG Queen's Blade game Queen's gate spiral chaos also died or alive in the card game.
I wonder if they all crossover in anything else,
Queen's blade needs a fighting game.
Wait, Arika is codeveloping Tekken 8?
I would love to see Skullomania appear in Tekken
Thank God Geese got a mention. He absolutely deserves a spot, he really fit into the lore & his gameplay wasn't too overturned like Akuma post season 3.
23:23 BAOH HAS A LAZER CANNON!!!!!!
Yo dude, I'm still alive: ruclips.net/video/G08reHzC-l0/видео.html
I'm still alive, man.
The guest characters of Samurai Shodown are from games that are very popular in Japan.
The games that you are talking about, however, are not. So those characters aren't going in.
@UKKXFightingGameChannel Glad! To hear the news! I just subscribed to your channel and am going to watch your videos soon.
@@elmono6299 Thanks! Had to restart the channel due to some... troubling events.
List of fame fighting games and guest characters you have forgotten:
Xmen Children of the Atom: Akuma
Marvel Super Heroes: Annita from the Darkstalker series
Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter: Norimaro Japanese only version, based on the comedian Noritake Kinashi
Tatsunoko Vs Capcom: Hakushon Daimao Japanese only version*
Now to the Smash series: Smash is supposed to be a Nintendo fighting festival BUT
Smash Bros Brawl added to guest characters from other companies, Sonic and Solid Snake
Then the 3ds version added Cloud!
8:57 Can anyone confirm that the classics version of Soul Calibur contain Vader? Can't find any info online and the box doesn't say anything.
I have the og release and still regret not getting Vader when I could back in the day.
wow no love for Killer Instinct? that had a few amazing guest characters like Rash from Battletoads and The Arbiter from the halo series.
Rest in peace Jason...
NRS always gets the beat guest characters. I mean TMNT? Predator? Spawn? The Terminator? Yeah...nuff said.
honorable mention, every guest character in smash as the idea of sora, banjo, joker, steve, ect in smash is just an awsome part of gaming history.
I loved the Bach anime from back in the the day, and it's amazing to see him again.
Chun LI is the best power ranger I've ever seen.
Thank You For Adding My Suggestion I Appreciate It now to enjoy the video
8:15-This game pratically doesn't count, because is basic a beta version for KoFXIII
I honestly forget that KOFXII was a thing sometumes
You forgot The Undertaker from WWE in King of Fighters All Stars
1. Link (Soul Calibur 2)
2. Spawn (MK 11)
3. Akuma (Tekken 7)
4. Banjo & Kazooie (SSBU)
5. HellBoy (Injustice 2)
6. Baiken (Samurai Shodown 2019)
7. Mai (Dead or Alive 5)
8. Rash (Killer Instinct 2013)
9. Ryu (Power Rangers: Battle of the Grid)
10. Akira (Street Fighter 5)
The reason Banjo is allowed to be in Smash, is because Microsoft ported Minecraft to the Wii U. Creating a bridge between Nintendo and Microsoft.
Weren't essentially 65% of the characters in Battle for the Grid DLC?
I don't remember the exact number, but the DLC really filled out the game to feel like a true game. It didn't even have voice actors when it was released, so the final product was a full fighting game worth the price.
Hi mr top ten list i just wanted to know if there was a way if me and you could collab on a video so please think about it
4:33:My man should be at number 1!
Does anyone know what happened with Killer Instinct? I thought the characters were cool like Jago.
I want Afro Samuari, Bushido Brown, The Shredder, Toxic Avenger, and PEPSI MAN in fighting games. Any fighting game, like right now
When I was young, seeing Link in Soul Calibur II was beyond epic, like a real life changing moment coming from being a fan of the first game.
Soul Calibur 3 did have a guest character...kinda? They had a special outfit set for the custom characters that was KOS-MOS
I dont know if anyone would agree with me but i think alex mercer or james heller from the prototype games would be perfect for a mk game
Link in Soul Calibur 2 will forever be the greatest crossover in games period.
Fun Fact: Cloud Strife was set to be the playstation exclusive character initially but Square backed out last second so Namco had to use their own character (Heihachi) due to limited time.
5:23 this is arguably the worst mispronounciation of "Geralt" I have ever witnessed what the fuck
5:33 same for "Nier" here... just how dude
Now I know what it's like to be the Street Fighter content creators that say "Rye-U" instead of "Ryu."
I don't even play Mortal Kombat but I believe they are unbeatable on guest characters
Considering WB own the rights to most characters
Yeah that TMNT collab was so legendary at the time. Makes the wait for Injustice 3 even more exhausting since the games are fun to play.
