i don't like vanilla fragrances, so i would never have tried this if i hadn't smelled it on someone else before. this is really gorgeous, pure beach, dry and clear. i really, really love salty fragrances, so this is a winner for me.
I got a sample of this. Interesting. I’m not sure what is happening with it but I’m getting some definite pencil shavings along with the vanilla. Despite the beautiful bottle I won’t be buying - just not great on my skin.

I'm going to see if my wife has a sample of it. She has a sample box and I smelled "mmmm" but didn't really liked it which has Vanilla. We will see.

yeah, they are really aggressive about sending it out for reviewers. You just have to make sure the reviewer is reliable and honest.
