Hello Everyone!
I am very excited to unbox and demonstrate how to use the new Hat Press from HTVRONT! It is so cute, lightweight, and hopefully easy to use. I am typing this description prior to using the hat press and if it is not easy to use, trust me I definitely let you know in the video.
I have 2 other hat presses in my craft room that have not been used; one of them is still in the box and it is completed sealed, lol. For some reason, i was excited to work with HTVRONT again; because they know what is important to me and my crafting community.
I had several hats here already, and I am going to demonstrate how to use their new hat press with two different designs! Even though my hair is usually twisted, I am sure I will be able to put these hats to good use in between wash and retwists!

Hi Dalonda, great tutorial! I love that you included the specs ❤
Tip from a review I saw by someone else & she showed that you pull the little elastic straps on the pressing cap down to where the lock is on the lid to secure the pressing cap down, she also mentioned that she will probably put it on a silicone mat next time to help hold it still.

Hi Delonda, I'm normally quiet, watching you from behind bushes. Just wanted to comment that I absolutely love your hair. Your twists are hair goals. I have a big dumpy hat press. If this little press was available back then, I would have gotten it instead. Good video!

Hello! Thanks for testing this out for us. Especially the puff cause I have the same problem with the time thanks to u now I learn. But my question is the heat press it is work with any size of hat. Love u channel.
I think it will work with any type of hat; but if you are using a hat that won't fit on the lid and ironing mat, you would need to find a way to keep it steady to press it.
You can lock the mat in place by using the elastic loops and attach them to the plastic hooks on the lid.

I prefer the look of the Cricut Hat Press. I've bought HTVRont products before (here in the UK) and haven't really been super delighted with them.

Hi Delonda!! I loved this video! Have you tried sublimating on a hat with printed sublimation paper from your printer? I know you used the infusable ink in this video but I was curious how a printed image would work.

My puff did not turn out either first time. I used the temp and time for the transfer I had made since I don’t have a Cricut. I got the crinkled puff. Bummed.

What paper did you print the design on?
A-sub sublimation paper.
I saw someone moving it back n forth
I haven't seen anyone use this one. I wanted my review to be authentic. Also, I don't do that with Infusible Ink.
Did you know that Cricut came out with the hat press first?
Yes! I have it. It's still in the box.
Can we do sublimation with the hat press? Or is it only vynal, I tried sublimation but it didn't come out at all
I am sure you can. You will probably have to add more pressure and press for 60 seconds. I am going to be trying it soon.

I use sublimation ink on sublimation paper only. Will this press work for me? Haven't been able to figure it out.
It will work if you are using hats with polyester fabric.

Yes it can! I don't know but I would say use it at the highest temp for 60 seconds.
Congratulation for being on the HTVRont website. Way to go. I came across a different Hat Press tutorial and purchased it maybe 3 months ago. Love it. I work from a small space and want to be able to change locations. This is perfect. Last week my manual 15 x 15 arrived. We all have to start somewhere. I am out in the country in very rural Alabama. As a senior citizen, this looks to be just perfect for me. Thank you.

That would be great for doing caps 🧢 at craft fairs!!! That’s a serious consideration.
When you placed the butcher paper under the cap, it crinkled. I think that’s why the first cap didn’t press properly.
Loved the images of your freshly washed hair. I love natural hair. My daughter convinced me to get my natural hair locked. I’m glad I did because now my hair is down my back.

Have you used your cap 🧢 press attachment that came with your swing away press? I ruined my first puff cap 🧢 because I didn’t refresh myself before I attempted it. I pressed it too long. 😢
I still haven’t pressed a plate with my swing away. Have you pressed any plates with your swing away yet?

@@CraftingwithDelonda , Yes, I have the old one I think in my ( Delonda voice in my opinion :) I think it is good for HTV I made my man caps for his business, and it is smeared with sub paper I don't do too well with it :( Have an awesome weekend (You are the Best of all the Rest)
