Frankly, at this point I'm cheering on any company that puts out a quality transforming figure that isn't based on generation 1.

Hope APC Toys is gaining success and hopefully they will release the Optimus Prime figure from beast hunter, and fix its loose joints, thin plastics, jetpack, and that horrendous head sculpt, and perhaps add in its gattling gun.

Since I have the first edition, I think this will be the first APC that I skip. I don't see enough of a difference.
If she gets redone in pink or an Elita retool, then maybe.

Really hoping for show accurate predaking and beast hunter optimus from these guys. Also would've been nice to get a prime arm for megs.
If they made a knockout it would be awesome if it came with the arm. Man apc has a gold mine here they could do apex armor for starscream and miko, do all the human characters, do the predacons from the movie, do all the cool relics and even an alpha trion based on the still image we got on him.
I saw this on TF Safari and bought it so freaking fast.

Really nice figure, I much prefer the exposed bike areas in this robot mode rather than the backpack on the 'G1' related arcee
So I own the Dr. Wu add-ons that were made for this and the mainline Deluxe. Given that these are just painted and given I own the Megatron (which also had the Dr. Wu add-ons) I'm going to assume the old Dr. Wu add-ons will work just fine on this? Oh, this is tempting me to get this figure. She looks gorgeous.

She is absolutely fantastic looking, way too tall, but fantastic looking. I've ordered mine so hopefully be here in a few months! :)
Very pretty. I would have actually preferred her bigger than the original as a stand-alone piece though

I do want to get APC's Prime and Megatron. And I may get this too, but for display I think I'll get the R.E.D. figure.
Get the silver tight version for APC Prime. Definitely worth it. Not sure about Megatron though.

They should've done the rid version with the add-on kit and premium paint!
Had I not forgot about the red series arcee I might have skipped this one because both the alt and bot mode is just too dam big but as soon as I remembered the red series I got both... fuck it! Her and cheetor are the only ones that I had to have from the red line and if they do more beast wars and prime I'm all in or if Hasbro uses there brains and start doing human figures that would be perfect for the red line, hell they could be done with all the human and humanoid characters in tfp and beast wars in 2 waves... I'd buy the 3 primates from beast wars in a heart beat and not to mention a Meagan fox figure then army build mech!
I wanted to commit to just getting one Arcee and got the RiD one due to the scale. But I might have to get this one as well. Dang it.
I could probably look this up but is this the same character as the pink Arcee???
I won't lie, this is pretty disappointing for me: this would've been a PERFECT opportunity to downscale the figure, if only a bit, to get a better scale with the other figures in the line. I'm not exactly a huge scale junkie, but I do definitely prefer my figures to be in relative scale with one another, so this one will have to be an easy pass for me. While the RiD version I have doesn't have paint apps or accessories that are near as nice as this one, I'm more prone to keep it due to how much smaller it is. Still not a perfect scale for Arcee in any regard, but I think I'll have to make due with it. Praise where it's due though, I absolutely adore APC's rendition of Megatron, which in my opinion is simply the best figure of that character from TFP overall, when it comes to size, paint, accessories, all the above. I was just really hoping I'd have another winner on my hands with their take on Arcee.

I just got mine in, and I'm pretty disappointed. The joints were pretty loose, and it had paint chipping out of the box, and every time I even handle it, I end up with flecks of blue paint on my hands, and I've only ever transformed it once.
Agreed. I bought it and sold it to somebody within 48 hours. I don't understand why all the reviews rave about it. It's a piece of garbage.
Nice Prime's Archer but man, this one is super prone to paint chipping. Ugh.

Still wish that they had used the mainline figure over this one....
1st Edition is the better figure over all, the RID is just to a better scale with the other figures. APC seems to be sticking with 1st ed/Takara molds for this line, and I'm fine with that. I'm hoping I can finally get a version of the 1st ed Bulkhead
SUPER hard to transform IMO and you're absolutely definitely going to scratch the hell out of the paint job lol but I love it to death
