He was super entertaining to see on screen and his whole color scheme really made him stand out when most Decepticons were deep cool colors. He was just a very likable bad guy and mixed with how he and Breakdown were, it showed that not all Decepticons are evil all the time
I'm so glad you finally Collected the Knockout biography ... it 's so much better to get to know our favorite characters better... I really Love Knockout character... And I think you forgot Knockout in doujinshi Transformers Japanese manga
I honestly think Prime has my favorite versions of every character featured in it. And Knock Out was, as stated here, a breakout among an already fantastic cast. I would love to see a new figure of him with today's engineering and design, because while I like the Prime version, it mostly gets by on who it represents.
Let’s be honest, when TFP played around with pre-established characters personalities it tended to give us the definitive versions of those characters. Like Ratchet. Or Starscream. And, obviously, Knockout. But the best character in Prime was Agent Fouler.
Knockout was amazing! I love him in Prime and the voice actor Darian Norris did a PERFECT job! That actor is actually well known in Nickelodeon as Cosmo, Timmy s Dad, and some live action series on the channel. Hard to believe he did such a great job as Knockout!
“For the most creative use of a Shield Generator in a supporting role, the winner is... Knockout!” (Makes you wonder how much human media Knockout goes through in his spare time.)
I'm honestly running out of characters I want to see covered by your channel, you've done almost all of my favourites in the past 12 months. Good thing I like learning about characters I haven't heard of even more!
Something that hasn't happened yet but should: Any sort of storyline with the definitive Prime Knockout and a G1-styled Sunstreaker. I mean, G1 Sunstreaker's a narcissist who could've turned 'con if it wasn't for his preference of red on yellow over purple on yellow. Just imagine that kind of an autobot alongside the similarly stylish street-racing savant that is Knockdown.
With each passing day I'm convinced more and more that Transformers: Prime is one of if not the best Transformers series to date ever to be graced upon the screen. From now until the end of time, I will refer to Prime Knockout as "Mah Boi", and he will be the gold standard of all Knockouts for the future.
You gotta love a Decepticon that can kick butt while also showing great style. I can't believe it's already been a full decade since "Transformers: Prime" and its take on Knock-Out premiered on our television screens.
If arcee made people feel things, then so did knockout. (Seriously, type in "tfp arcee" and you'll find tons of tfp arcee compilations, and lots of down bad content to)
The fact Knock Out and Mercuremon in the Digimon Frontier dub have the same voice actor is amusing. Like Daran Norris has voiced a somewhat fruity metal twink two times, which is something not a lot of voice actors can say they've done.
"You painted my paint-job! Prepare for SURGERY!!" I think the only only things that *truly* pissed off Knockout in the entire series were messing with his paint and desecrating Breakdown's corpse. Wait, if Transformers don't "grow" in the sense that biological organisms do, how can they gain or lose weight without literally taking body parts off?
5:12 Game recognizes game. Recognizes Optimus has very nice rims. Especially since those appear stock. I do believe Optimus does like to take care of himself. Probably goes to a car wash once in awhile.
Average Transformers Prime experience: "Is that the Fairly Odd Parents guy? Hahaha it is" *two and a half seasons later* "ALL HAIL KNOCK OUT, ALL HAIL KNOCK OUT"

"Though I must confess, I always admire your LUSTROUS finish...."
-Knock Out TFP Season 3 Ep. 8
Let’s be honest, when TFP played around with pre-established characters personalities it tended to give us the definitive versions of those characters. Like Ratchet. Or Starscream. And, obviously, Knockout. But the best character in Prime was Agent Fouler.
"Careful there, Starscream; you might dislocate a landing strut patting yourself on the back."
Knockout was amazing! I love him in Prime and the voice actor Darian Norris did a PERFECT job! That actor is actually well known in Nickelodeon as Cosmo, Timmy s Dad, and some live action series on the channel. Hard to believe he did such a great job as Knockout!
The ignomy of being reduced to little more than a gopher? LOL That's a sentence you don't hear every day!
Easily my favourite character in TF:P. He had the best lines, too! Thank you for this episode!
Knockout is one of the most funniest and good looking decepticon from Transformers Prime! He is also one of my favorite characters from that show!
That little smile in 6:19 makes me feel warm, he's so adorable.
“For the most creative use of a Shield Generator in a supporting role, the winner is... Knockout!”
(Makes you wonder how much human media Knockout goes through in his spare time.)
4:50
He and his “ *assistant* “ Breakdown.
I cried so hard- I've been WAITING SO LONG for this video! Knocky is my absolute favorite character!
Damn the Autobots could've easily bribed the whole lot of Constructors to their side by just saying "Hey, we need something BIG done."
I'm honestly running out of characters I want to see covered by your channel, you've done almost all of my favourites in the past 12 months.
Good thing I like learning about characters I haven't heard of even more!
there's over 200 characters in the TF franchise & Chris hasn't even covered all of them
Something that hasn't happened yet but should: Any sort of storyline with the definitive Prime Knockout and a G1-styled Sunstreaker.
He probably kinda is considering he appeared in IDW and some other media.
Megatron: Who was responsible for this outrage?!
Starscream: It was him Lord Megatron!
Knockdown: Yes your leige... *WHAT?!*
"I guess we should cancel the welcome home party."
That was probably the best line in all three seasons.
Knockout reminds me of Razer from the 3D Green Lantern the Animated Series.
I just realized they do look similar
So I wasn't crazy then lol.
To think that I’ve collected the TF: Prime show on Blueray just in time for the ten year anniversary! Gives me warm feelzzzz!
You gotta love a Decepticon that can kick butt while also showing great style. I can't believe it's already been a full decade since "Transformers: Prime" and its take on Knock-Out premiered on our television screens.
Knockout. The character that almost made me question if I was gay, just from his voice alone.
I feel like "somewhat fruity" is underselling Knockout just a tad.
He also voiced the winner of the Ms. Dimmsdale contest.
That minicon was my fav as a kid, I took him everywhere with me
"You painted my paint-job!
The way I thought of it, it’s more like removing anything unnecessary, while making them weigh less.
Bye Dingleberg, Hello Knockout

Game recognizes game. Recognizes Optimus has very nice rims. Especially since those appear stock. I do believe Optimus does like to take care of himself. Probably goes to a car wash once in awhile.
Knockout in Prime was excellent. Having that freedom of more or less of a blank slate character was probably part of it.
The parody animatics what are made about him are wild. I mean... yeah. If only Prime was allowed to depict him more as he was designed.
"You painted my paint job! Prepare for surgery!" - TFP Knockout
Prime KO is by FAR the best knockout. He literally made history and was voted into the hall of fame my statement stands.
Here’s an idea for a Basics episode: The Basics on DRONES. Or an episode on Skids.
Yooo it's my birthday. I always connected with Knockout personality wise this is PERFECT.
i love aligned continuity in more ways than 1..knockout plays a big role in it too
Average Transformers Prime experience:
"Is that the Fairly Odd Parents guy? Hahaha it is"
*two and a half seasons later*
"ALL HAIL KNOCK OUT, ALL HAIL KNOCK OUT"
"Of which knockout formed the rear." OH my even in g1 huh?
Starscream : Allow me to answer this ………
IT WAS KNOCKOUT’s FAULT !
Knockout : Precisely- MY WHAT ?!
One of MANY thing i Loved about about Transformers Prime Series
Aligned Continuity is The BEST Continuity of all Transformers Beating G1 and IDW
An ACTUAL Story that as the story progress so as the Plot
The Story Arc is the Best
TF Lore that Use to it Fullest
Many Likeable Character (Optimus, Arcee, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, Knock Out, Breakdown, Dreadwing, Airachnia, Shockwave, Predaking)
Human Character is more useful than Useless
Character that ACTUALLY Died and Stay Died
Menacing and Likeable Decepticon
Peter Cullen, Frank Welker (Don't Judge Me is my Opinion)
We just dont talk about RiD 2015 😂
While I disagree when it comes to it being better than IDW, it is easily my third favorite continuity (the second favourite being beast wars : uprising). I also love that it really only has one disappointment. Most of the shows, comic books, novels and games are great.
@@Mr.Murphy2802 of course RID 2015 is what Ruin Prime Perfect and Metaphor Ending
@@Mr.Murphy2802 it doesn't count, Aligned ended with Predacons Rising...
Sept 17 1984:G1
Nov 7 2010: Prime
The brand is always evolving.
1:30 So does that make Knockout a bottom?
What's a bottom and what's a top?
I've heard these terms used for gay people, but I have no idea what they mean.
“Buff this.”
“Who knew soundwaves could be such a…. Knockout!”
“I like the way I look in steel belted radiums.”
Although there were pre-2010 characters named Knock-Out, the "Prime" version is a more original character seeing as how he was animated.
Friggin' love your basics videos! So awesome! Thank you so much!
