To me, this song means that once you've lost the one you love, nothing can ever replace them, or what you had with them. No matter what you do, the memories are still there, and even if you try to replace them, you're still so in love with the one you lost, that nothing can fill the void they left.

I feel like this video is a representation of what love is and means, and how you can't just replace someone you truly love no matter what. It's obvious he was truly in love with the woman he lost, and It puts off as though she didn't leave, rather lost a battle of some sort and left this earth. You can see the love he has for her, and he tries to move on, but can't let her go and tries to replace her with a robot thinking she looks the same, but without her love, her sense of humor, all those little things that made her who she was and who he fell in love with it wasn't the same. It shows that when you truly love someone you don't forget them. You don't shelf the feelings you have for them, you don't forget the memories, that seeing the smallest thing can bring back those memories and feelings, and it shows the old saying true love never dies. Beautifully done guys, a great acoustic version of an amazing song. I love the concept, i couldn't imagine life without my husband, and know he is truly irreplaceable to me, so I understand the meaning behind this song!
Its the Memories. I had a very good friend pass away from cancer, he fought it for years and then just couldn't anymore. This video speaks to me. Once he passed on I took everything we had ever done, and put it in a box. Pictures, fair tickets, movie tickets, EVERYTHING, and it now sits in his parents Living room. As a reminder of who he was and what he meant in our lives. We always miss you James. Always. Its a part of my life that I tell NOBODY about, Not even my curent Fiancee, because its my memories. And I prefer to keep it that way. Thank you guys. I actually cried.
"Just Stay" to me means always having someone there for you that loves you no matter how far away they are. "Just stay" brings me hope that I will never be alone even in my darkest moments there is always someone there that will pull me out of every ditch I fall in so i can get up and keep moving forward with my loved ones. It also taught me to keep moving forward so that i can do the same for others. "Just Stay" is not just another song to me. Like all A Skylit Drive songs it became a part of me and who i am as a person. I feel that "Just Stay" and all other songs by A Skylit Drive have made a path for me and help me define who I am and not what others believe i should be. "Just stay" reminds me of my mother because she has always there for me in every way to support me emotionally and help me get to concerts that are far away like when i recently saw A Skylit Drive in Danbury Connecticut. After my Father died from Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) when I was 3 weeks old she quit her job to look after me and my brother while our only income was the occasional check from my fathers death benefits. It was very difficult to grow up without a father let alone a father figure. That was until i found A Skylit Drive in my late middle school years. That's when Michael Jagmin (Jag) became like a father figure to me his music gave me the ability to move forward no matter what happened and to love myself because there is always hope. "Just Stay" Also reminds me of the few close friends that I have. My friends who are always there for me when i need them. I couldn't be more grateful to them. They are there for me for anything. When I'm going through a breakup, when i was bullied for my voice, or when i went through withdrawal on my ADHD medication and thought all hope was lost. They were there for me through everything as i would do the same for them. "Just Stay" Reminds me that I'm never really alone at all no matter how much i feel like i am. All you guys in A Skylit Drive are the closest thing to true heros to me. I couldn't be more grateful because as of recently things in my life are getting better every day and you guys are what kept me holding on all this time and this does not exclude Brandon Rage and Michael even though you guys are new to A Skylit Drive it doesn't make you any less significant. Thank you for being there for me and every other A Skylit Drive fan.

A Skylit Drive has been my favorite band for over 5 years. My best friend, Tanner, and I used to listen to you guys all the time whenever we were together. Sadly, he died of a heroin overdose four years ago. We had been best friends since high school and found heroin independently of each other and used to use together and wound up on the same path. Although his path ended, I made it to a different path and will be celebrating two years clean from drugs in July (I'm getting a tattoo of a lyric from an A Skylit Drive song for it). The album "Rise" came out when I was first getting sober, and my favorite song off of the album was "Just Stay". I remember being so mesmerized by the haunting melody and beautiful vocals. It just really stood out to me every time I listened to the album. This last time in rehab, my mom (who is disabled that I take care of) would visit every so often and I remember thinking "just stay" when she'd have to go. When I recently got a tattoo for my mom, I had them play A Skylit Drive on Spotify and "Just Stay" came on and I thought that was so appropriate. This song and video has lots of meaning for me because it reminds me of my mom and the trust I've gained back from her, but it also reminds me of Tanner because I know this would have been his favorite song off of "Rise" as well. Whenever I listen to A Skylit Drive, I feel his presence there listening with me and I think to myself, "Please, Tanner, just stay."
Dear A Skylit Drive, I just read a skylit Timothys comment and it really touched my soul. I have been thinking about his words that just created such a organic and genuine emotion towards your guys band. Seeing his words and how you all have helped him surpass his sorrows in life is one of the most vulnerable acts of selflessness. I hope he wins this. It seems like he really deserves it. Not that he wants to meet or needs to meet you guys but he seems like such a devoted fan. I'm sure he would be more than undoubtedly grateful for your music. Much love and happiness to you guys.

If our loved one is taken away, a part of us breaks, and we are then only living with half of ourselves. This can be applied to other relationships as well, such as with a parent, a sibling or a best friend, etc.
