When you got that win light in the final round I was jumping up and down and hollering so loud my dogs thought I'd done went crazy. My most anticipated Clay Millican video yet. Not gonna lie, I may have shed a tear watching this. This proves it’s not all about money. Here’s some comparative math for you. If you add up EVERY run in qualifying and eliminations, and every run is a relatively slow. 4.000 ET, you have a combined 6.26 minutes of on track racing with 16 cars. Only 2 of these cars get to travel the maximum distance in 4 runs of 4000 feet, with obvious 1 winner. As the field is chopped in half each round, and NO options to make adjustments “mid run”, you take your shot, and win or lose. 1/100 of a second is what decided this entire weekend of racing. Don’t get me wrong, I love NASCAR, but you don’t see that minuscule of a MOV often there. This is the norm in Top Fuel. And, in Top Fuel, you don’t get the luxury of making adjustments and getting another chance. 1/100 of a second at 200 mph, is about 3 feet. The skill, precision, and knowledge required to harness a land based howitzer, is simply mind boggling. The odds are stacked against you from the start. The haters should think about starting their own T/F team if they’re so awesome, and can do so much better than Jim-O. So incredibly happy for the whole team. Congratulations.

This video should be required viewing in conjunction with a great book called Top Fuel For Life. Just thinking about Jim O taking down rivals like both of Connie's Top Fuel cars, a JFR/Grubnic-tuned car,and Josh Hart in the same day gives me chills.A truckload of new parts is only as good as the tuner,driver,and crew that are using them. It takes talent,time,and perseverance to get it all fine-tuned and working together. Jim O will be included in the list of great tuners and crew chiefs like Coil,Prock,Kalitta,Dunn, and others. ... I have followed you from when you worked for my old boss C.L. Werner. Your Werner diecast still hangs on my wall. A record six straight championships...not a lot of people can say that. I have been your fan through the triumphs and tragedies in your life and career. I think some people forgot about how great of a hot-shoe you were, I never have. So this is a long overdue congratulations. I think your sneaking up on them in your golden years. This video should be required viewing in conjunction with a great book called Top Fuel For Life. Just thinking about Jim O taking down rivals like both of Connie's Top Fuel cars, a JFR/Grubnic-tuned car,and Josh Hart in the same day gives me chills.A truckload of new parts is only as good as the tuner,driver,and crew that are using them. It takes talent,time,and perseverance to get it all fine-tuned and working together. Jim O will be included in the list of great tuners and crew chiefs like Coil,Prock,Kalitta,Dunn, and others. Congrats to the team of Rick Ware Racing for conquering the beast known as Top Fuel.

Jim O is one of those team leaders that doesn't need to. Hès just a person that you want to do your best for, because that's what he would do for you. Sometimes it takes just a little more than a team to put you in the winner's circle. Family can be a good thing; Jim O has helped create both. Great job Clay and Family.
