I know Andy is known for his guitar tones but I really like his drum tones, especially Arch Enemy Doomsday Machine era!

"..if the bass guitar has mids, which it should" - Dave Friedman. Some live sound engineers need to listen to this :) Thanks again, great show as always.

    Great interview guys.
Yeah those Fernades RR’s were great. I had two in the late 1990s when I was in thrash metal band Hydra Vein in the UK. Our late singer Mike nearly ended up in Andy’s band Sabbat. Really enjoyed that 👌🤘🏼

It may be technically true that digital recording is better than analog vinyl versions, but anyone who has ever heard live music would likely agree that vinyl sounds more authentic to that experience.

Tom Hunting will send Andy a Christmas basket for the rest of his life. Every.Hit.Is.Perfect. Too perfect IMHO.

Thank you chaps, that was a great discussion.
I don't listen to a load of metal so I'm not familiar with Andy but I found this very engaging (though all of you probably won't read this based on what you said due to a few fucksticks who don't have any manners!)

Andy is a legend of Metal! So, I guess if Richie sent Andy direct guitar tracks, then he reamped them with real amps?

Especially, considering your audience, you may consider improving the audio quality.

Great show guy's....any chance you could get the level of the mic's a bit more balanced via your streaming software before you go live ? as it is really hard to listen to and enjoy ,this seems to happen a lot and wonder is there a way to make it more consistent ..thanks for the great show's though , always enjoy them..Rock on...

Working on it! I tried to get Andy’s level worked out when we started but it kept getting louder even when I would lower it. Sorry

1:25:03 When did keeping "the FOH guy" happy become a thing? Keep it all loud, keep it all real, and keep on wrestling the dragon, my friends. Make the FOH guy struggle to keep up, and fire him if he can't hack it!
