I overfill the water dishes once a wk or 2 so it can soak in and dampen the substrate/ raise humidity
it's late but if it's not high degree you may apply some toothpaste on burn area...

Hi Kat! I hope your doing well! I’ve been following your videos for a while now, and saw you using Frozen Brine Shrimp for your fish! I wanted to ask which brand you use, as I though this was quite coincidental, as I my Wife is responsible for the distribution of Hikari Brine Shrimp products from their head office in Japan to the USA! If so, it’s a very small world indeed! Haha

There is one male and one female living next to each other! Occasionally I catch them both hanging out at the top on a play date! Haha

Omg I’m totally addicted to animal crossing 😂😂 I love that you play. When I catch tarantulas I automatically think of you lol it would be awesome and I mean AWESOME if you wanted to visit my island. I see the potential for a new hit series: Drowning My Tarantulas! You could beat Exotics Lair to the punch with that one. I would like your opinion on something. My room has a rather extreme temperature range. As low as 50 in the dead of winter. As high as 103 once or twice in the summer. The room is fairly dark, just hot. My terrestrial Ts handle it with no problem. But do you think an arboreal T like a C. Versicolor can handle it? Of course, I wouldn't want to risk it if you had doubts.
I watered and fed my Ts today as well. my L Parahybana didnt wanna eat though, which is strange considering that she molted last week and hasnt eaten since. Nice video!

I have 30 Tarantula's and 2 Crested Geckos. Takes me about 2 hours to feed them all. But I love it. Keep up the videos.

What do you do with your water? Is it bottle and tap and do you condition it before giving it to your T's? I don't have any spiders (yet) so I am just doing some research!! Thanks Kat.
just tap is fine as long as the water is safe for you. I only use conditioner for my more sensitive pets like Magic Frog
75 T's holy heck! After this pandemic i'm looking forward to increasing on my 3 T's lol. I have OBT juvenile, GBB adult, H Gigas adult
75 tarantula. I only have 20 which is more than enough considering I also have five snakes a bearded dragon and a leopard gecko a Russian tortoise two parakeets two cockatiels two fish tanks and a partridge in a pear tree LOL. Would I like to have more? yes of course but do I really have time to care for them properly? Nope, that's why I limit myself to 20. Thanks for the video , I'll be watching for the next one.

How long does it take you to water your Ts? I know it can take me 2 hours easily and I only have 33 right now. 🤣
I do dilly dally a lot and look at the prettys.
Depends how many i'm watering and how I'm watering them (sometimes I mist from the top, other times I do this and actually replace and fill the water dishes. I usually only do a few one day, a few the next, and then a few more the next so it's not too time consuming

Kat- I do not own any tarantulas, spiders scare me but since watching you and others videos all the time really makes me want one! I really want a Chilean flame? I think thats what its called? Not a dumb question. No, spiders have no ears or analogous sensory organs, and therefore cannot hear. Their bristles are very sensitive to changes in air current, however, and they do use that sense to detect prey. That does mean that it bothers them tremendously if you blow, or even breath, on them.

Will you be breeding your himorie? Keep being late to buying slings or adults online and only knew one breeder in person and stood me up to buy an adult and some slings.

I'm surprised at how lax the quarantine has been in the States, especially considering the numbers of cases and deaths you're dealing with. I can't say I don't miss a long walk with my dogs, though, but even those are forbidden down here
I agree with you. My husband works in the medical field so he has no choice. I wish everyone took it more seriously here .. I’m not even eating out and wasn’t even doing my own grocery shopping a few wks back 🙈
