I know this project is kinda old, but I think the gold room would look a little better if you used worldedit to scatter plenty of gold ore to look like coins and a little bit of diamond blocks and ore to look like jewlery.
This is the best version of Erebor I've ever seen built in minecraft. You really did an amazing job. I would love to use this on my server if you dont mind! Again this is amazing and great job on this!

This is the best Erebor for sheer scale and looks and it gets so little views and sjins is terrible all he has done is dale which isn't even part of Erebor. Not just that his is far too small
This is extremely helpful. I'm putting together a DnD campaign set in the 3rd age of Middle Earth, and there are absolutely NO maps of the interior of Erebor/Lonely Mountain. This gives me a perfect representation to look out while drawing out the maps/tiles. Thanks!

The difference is going to be the scale of it. His is going to be like the MCME Mines of Moria. None are really bad, but some just have such a larger scale. The gold mine, throne room, outside of entrance, and the gold room are all fucking amazing. The rest are ehh, but still freaking beautiful. I would add Smaug inside the gold room.

It's not exactly like in the movies but compliments really, just a tip, a nice thing that you put, Smaug (dragon) sleeping on gold. And then you could create Imladris (Rivendell)
since made by the movie, should you add somewhere the great dwarven (golden) statue to the main hall and also the forges, and all those places where the dwarves create all the items from the raw materials that were introduced in the second Hobbit movie? otherwise, this is amazing build and if someone could make this a server, i would owe them my life. Awesome work!!!
We have been thinking about add a proper forgery area like the one in the movie, as for the giant golden statue, its rather difficult to fit it into the main hall as it would be rather out of place... But we may incorporate it into it elsewhere
