I enjoyed the video. It was insightful. However, it was really hard to hear you speak over the music. The music was too loud. If you have a way to lower the volume on the music, making it easier to hear your voice, I’d be intrigued to watch more content!
My 2015 CCT came to me in 2023.... with only 15,000 miles. One year later the Odometer shows 34,000 miles. It's taken me and my wife to several national parks and great memories. Best bike I've owned.
that is the most beautiful victory I have ever seen. I learned decades ago that the factory knows more than I do. I always always leave my motorcycles, completely stock in the engine exhaust and intake department. I will do things like change bars or grips or suspension components. with the engine department, I never touch.. I worry about things most people do not. I really would have a victory, except for the fact that they don’t make them anymore. Parts supply
@Jodyrides Thank you very much. I changed the things that made me happy or added to the performance/efficiency. I get keeping it stock, though. I am on a little vacation so, more videos when I get back home.
A lesson you dont' ever want to learn is NEVER mess with any of the screws on the throttle bodies on the 106 motor. There is no idle adjustment as that is managed by the ecm. The throttle bodies are all calibrated at the factory with special instrument. Mess with them and your throttle bodies are permanently out of whack creating running problems.
It sounds like you have the Guard Dog keyless ignition. If your concerned about someone riding off with your bike just reprogram the fob. Program it so you have to push The button on the fob to start the bike. This way you could be sitting on the bike and it Won’t start unless you push that button on the fob. I have the same one on my 2012 Vic CC and love the convenience it’s been on my bike for about 8 years. starts every time. RIDE SAFE!
Bought a new 2013 Cross Country Tour. Couldn’t keep the compensator from rattling. Constantly rebuilding it, but it doesn’t last. Also the transmission goes into first with a massive clunk. Eventually it started popping out of first gear. The gear dogs were worn out from the massive clunking into gear. Bought a Victory Vision and it started clicking and clacking noise. And yes the compensator spring washers were worn out. Rebuilt the compensator 2 times in 35,000 miles and now it’s doing it again. The compensator is just too small for the amount of torque these motors make. Also the transmission on the Vision sounds like an old cement mixer. Clicking and clacking noises when cruising drive me crazy. Still shifts ok but I think one of the gears may have bad roller bearings. Not a well designed transmission.
Every single guy as soon as they get a Victory, they start messing around; they go like, "oh! put that bloody timing wheel on!", or indeed "oh! do that idle valve mod!"........why would you want those bloody things, when you can buy a bloody tuner and do adjustments properly. Besides, when you have triple displacement motors like on the Victories or the last generatiion of Harley Twin Cams, how much do you really need? basically you have an average or larger car's engine just between 2 wheels! awesome!......which leads me to that "keep it below 100", can't do it, don't want to, nothing like 100 or more down the highway! and not tickets whatsoever here!.....so! if it ain't broke, doesn't fix it!
@@BigBlackCorvette your talking about your bike?? I’m referencing the green bike with the Arnott air ride…lol you could have given me a shout out or something
When I had a highball, I was putting a Lloyds air cleaner on and in the process, because of curiosity, I messed with the AIV. Bad idea on my part for sure. Lesson learned.
I had 3 Victory's, 2007 Arlen Ness Jackpot, 2015 Cross Country Tour & 2016 Magnum, sold them all in spring of 2021, they were great bikes but i got tired of hunting for parts every time i wanted to do something or add something, my local dealer was $hit and stock nothing, aftermarket for Victory was also pretty weak and getting weaker so it was great time to sell all 3 of them, ended up selling my Indian Chief Vintage in the spring of 2021, pretty much for the same reasons. I also had Harley's during the same time, 2009 Rocker C, 2014 Dyna Wide Glide & 2021 Street Glide, in spring of 2021 i wanted to thin the heard and sold off the Indian along with the 3 Victory's, kept the 2009 Rocker C & the 2014 Wide Glide and used some of the money to buy the 2021 Street Glide and banked the rest. But i will never knock the Victory, they were awesome bikes
First of all thank you so much for this video but also I learned from this video that or you are so low skilled in mechanics, electronics and electricity or USA technicians level is low any way even know the brand has disappeared I will import AN edition I had take notes and now I have a truly first hand guide to give it maintenance
Respectfully. I have no idea what you just said. If you would like to retype it, with better gramar, i can respond in kind to whatever your question was. Thank you.
It's weird to me that you're commenting about how bad Americans are as mechanics and electricians on a video about an American made and built motorcycle 😂
My bike is been running perfect since the 1st day. I bought it in 2013. It's the best bike I have ever owned. No regrets with my victory.
ALR chapter #18 Visalia CA here!
Just bought my 2015 Victory Cross Country Touring and LOVE IT!
Love the Victory Motorcycles, they are rock solid! 😎
Yes they are. I will never let mine go unless I do not have a choice.

I put a stereo with amp and upgraded speakers, two guys on the Facebook page made it an easy install. The bikes are awesome I have a 2015 myself.
Hey do you still hv the bike. Do you mind sharing radio install info ride safe
Great video! Been a Cross Country owner since 2015. From one Legion Rider to another..... Greetings from Post #7 in the Old Pueblo! :)

I am sorry that you had that experience. I cannot say that my magnum has ever been anything but stellar.
I’m not sure the head unit was the route to go, I think most just get the motorcycle amp and put quality 6.5s in.
I did that, and it was a nightmare.

Much to my surprise I see my bike in your Video😮😮😮
It's for sale.

@@beerentsgarage90 Really? Oh man. I will do that on my next vid. Let me look at my footage real quick.
Is that you making the left turn?
OOOH. That's your video with the green VIC? OK. Hey. Everyone. Big props to Beerents Garage abd his air ride suspension video. Go and check him out.
Why would you mess with the air idler valve that caused the problem? What were you trying to fix?

WHERE CAN I FIND THE AIR SHOCK WITH THE FOB?
Maybe witchdoctor customs, I think.
So basically you’re not a mechanic, nor an electronics guy.
It depends. If I have the tools and instructions, I can do anything. But, I am not a mechanic.
Is stereo factory or did you upgrade? I’m looking for a nice Cross Country. Currently looking at an 8 ball.
Upgraded. Pioneer head unit. check out my latest video for more details.

You need better professional people all those issues you described are easily fixable in the right hands.
Agreed.
How many miles can you get out of the motor
Do you mean how many miles per tank? Or, how many miles out of the motor period?
Can you please do video on your stereo?
Done
If you don’t like the forged bars I will gladly take them off your Hands. I’m not even joking!
I tell you what. If I get some new bars next year, I will give you the bars.
Hell, if I get to 1000 subs this year I'd probably do that.

I’ll subscribe just to help you out bud. And cause I love my xc

Air ride is garbage, will never put it on another bike. It's super cool until you get a leak. And always happens sooner or later.
Thank you for the input. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. But, it's good that us bikers share our experiences. Thank you.
do want to sell the bars
No.
