2025 ZR1: The 1064 Horsepower Beast That’s No Longer for the Everyday Driver.
In this video, we take a closer look at the 2025 Chevy Corvette C8 ZR1, a true beast with an astonishing 1064 horsepower! Once known as the affordable American sports car, the Corvette has taken a sharp turn into supercar territory-both in performance and price. With a starting price of $180,000 and going well over $220,000 fully loaded, the C8 ZR1 is now competing with exotic European sports cars like Ferrari, McLaren, and Porsche.
We’ll break down the specs, including its twin-turbocharged 5.5L V8 engine, 0-60 in just 2.3 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 220 mph. We’ll also compare prices from previous Corvette models, highlighting how the Corvette has evolved from a working man’s dre...

I finally have it done. I went through some BS to get it done though. I finished the install and then my bettery died. LOL! So, three days later, all done. Anyway, this is an easy fix. If you have any questions about how to do this, drop a comment below. Thanks for watching.
FInally! A better coolant tank for the BBC!

So, I pulled the trigger and bought a new coolant tank. Well, technically I bought it two months ago but, who's counting. Anyway, I have to say that it is far superior to a cheap, OEM, plastic part. I will make a review of this product in a later video. And, before I forget: www.summitracing.com/parts/ctr-80-227?srsltid=AfmBOorQu9fhYAApZJ-M3lJFj78nAkPYWdspZDoeNRIerKgB0VufYK810Yo

Tired of roasting your weenie gentlemen? Well, so am I. I noticed that the heat that comes up from the number cylinder on the Victory Magnums and Cross Countrys is brutal. The heat can turn a great day of riding into a nightmare and super uncomfortable. So, I bought this. www.ebay.com/itm/266561258490. You will need some magnets. I listed where to get the magnets that I used in the first video about the side covers. Go check it out for details. You need some epoxy to affix the magnets. Patience.

C7 Corvette Coolant Leak Fix! Under .10 cents. Seriously.

I learned something today. 1. I am not a mechanic. 2. You can accidentally learn something. 3. You don't have to spend huge sums of money to fix your car. So, I have been having a coolant leak for awhile on my C7 Stingray and, it was driving me crazy. First it was just a little trickle. Then, it was emptying out my coolant tank in a couple of hours. So, being the non-mechanically incline person...
I'm done. I cant ride anymore.

I can't ride my motorcycle anymore. The reason is. I was given some injections improperly at my VA clinic and i now have SIRVA. It is a disorder that happens when a healthcare provider injects an immunization into your joint space. It causes severe pain and stiffness in the joint that can lwast for the rest of your life or temporarily. However, it is extremely painful. Therefore, I cannot ride ...

I was so sick and tired of my side panels on my Victory popping of because of the power commander and auto-tuner under the side panels. So, I got crafty and sawed off the tabs that hold the panels on, bought some epoxy, magnets and gloves. "Don't forget the gloves." And, I went to work. As you can see, the magnets do a wonderful job of holding the panels on and the panels are easier to put on a...

For 98% of C7 owners, putting a lower temp thermostat is NOT what you want to do..... It will screw up way more stuff than it will fix. 160 * is way to cold to run the engine.
You are correct! I have heard that as well. But, I live in Arizona, where engine temps are not helped by a stock thermostat. It has help me keep my vette cooler, for sure. The fans kick on quicker and give the system a bit of lead time. IMO.
I enjoyed the video. It was insightful. However, it was really hard to hear you speak over the music. The music was too loud. If you have a way to lower the volume on the music, making it easier to hear your voice, I’d be intrigued to watch more content!
Do you know what the part number is for the oil line elbow that the clip broke off that goes into the motor? Mine snapped as well and was very loose
I don't remember the number. I will look it up in the morning and get back to you.
I cannot find the part number for just the 90 degree elbow. I think I bought an entire assembly. I will look it up today when I get a chance.
❤❤❤❤The BBC is for sale. All offers will be considered. Grankid has medical issues, and i would rather have my grandson than a car.❤❤❤❤❤
I finished this today. Actually it wasn’t that bad. My car is a 2014 and I’m the original owner. I was more concerned about breaking those plastic hoses than anything else. Once I replace the 116 O-ring. I pressure tested the system at 20 psi for 40 minutes. Then I went for a 30 minute drive. No more leaks. Thanks for the assist.
Make sure that you get good O-Rings. The pressure will break the cheap ones. BTW, my car is for sale. Do you know anyone who wants a car?
@ I wish I did. I’m selling my Z51 torch red convertible next year. I have 68K miles all one owner. No engine mods but I added Corsa exhaust. Z06 replica wheels and side rocker panels. I’m looking for 30K even for my car. I want to get into a C8 HTC that’s a 2022/ 2023 2LT Z51 spec.
I swear if this works I'm buying you a bottle. I am STRESSING that I'm going to spend 1k on getting this fixed. Got home today, temp gauge was buggin, and left a little puddle under the pass wheel well. But I'm going to take a stab at it tomorrow!! Keep a lookout on your DM's 😅
Good luck!
My 2015 CCT came to me in 2023.... with only 15,000 miles. One year later the Odometer shows 34,000 miles. It's taken me and my wife to several national parks and great memories. Best bike I've owned.
I am selling it.
Thanks for the video 🙏
So from your reply to a comment 1 month ago, seems like this fix has been holding for what, 2 years?
no way. not a chance
Every single guy as soon as they get a Victory, they start messing around; they go like, "oh! put that bloody timing wheel on!", or indeed "oh! do that idle valve mod!"........why would you want those bloody things, when you can buy a bloody tuner and do adjustments properly. Besides, when you have triple displacement motors like on the Victories or the last generatiion of Harley Twin Cams, how much do you really need? basically you have an average or larger car's engine just between 2 wheels! awesome!......which leads me to that "keep it below 100", can't do it, don't want to, nothing like 100 or more down the highway! and not tickets whatsoever here!.....so! if it ain't broke, doesn't fix it!
Did they give dusty the boot last night? Can't find his channels at the moment. I know he was worried about some videos getting struck.
Let me do some looking around.
It is gone for sure.
He is hiding his channel for a while.
Any word from Dusty? I don't have twitter or anything so I don't know if he's been terminated or suspended. To be fair, I did think some of his Free Palestine content was probably against RUclips rules. Will be switching to Vimeo for the meantime or anything?
@@Michelle_Schu-blacka He is working on getting the strikes off and to have Murdock's company back-off. He also stated that he may just pay them. That would not be a good idea. But, he is working on it. However, he is going to do the show on Patreon for now. That was the last thing that I heard.
I'm so grateful for you taking excellent care of our car.... thank you...
More details on the magets installation please What type of magnet did you get. What kind of glue did you use? Thanks for your help.
I used small neo dynium magnets(amazon), and I used jb weld epoxy to make them stay.
What he’s talking about is the stock tires are run flat tires, which have much stiffer sidewalls. If you switch to a non runflats tire it’s not only lighter, but it gives much better ride. Plus it’s lots cheaper. Run flat tires are like bricks
that is the most beautiful victory I have ever seen. I learned decades ago that the factory knows more than I do. I always always leave my motorcycles, completely stock in the engine exhaust and intake department. I will do things like change bars or grips or suspension components. with the engine department, I never touch.. I worry about things most people do not. I really would have a victory, except for the fact that they don’t make them anymore. Parts supply
@Jodyrides Thank you very much. I changed the things that made me happy or added to the performance/efficiency. I get keeping it stock, though. I am on a little vacation so, more videos when I get back home.
That’s a good tip! Thanks!
Super cool 360 camera
Boy! Do I have a SURPRISE for you guys on Monday. It is something one of my viewers, requested. Who can guess the part? Tick, tick, tick. What could it be?
Shoulda showed us how to remove it !
You're funny. No. If I ever need to test my "curse like a sailor," sentence enhancers, I will make sure that I do just that.
I’m having coolant smells but no leaks from my c7. I’m guessing it’s this same issue. Or the radiator cap.
Probably. I'd you need a new tank, might I suggest Cordes Performance Racing. They have a replacement tank that might solve the leaking issues. But, to be sure that you don't have a problem somewhere else, pull and inspect the tank.
Bought a new 2013 Cross Country Tour. Couldn’t keep the compensator from rattling. Constantly rebuilding it, but it doesn’t last. Also the transmission goes into first with a massive clunk. Eventually it started popping out of first gear. The gear dogs were worn out from the massive clunking into gear. Bought a Victory Vision and it started clicking and clacking noise. And yes the compensator spring washers were worn out. Rebuilt the compensator 2 times in 35,000 miles and now it’s doing it again. The compensator is just too small for the amount of torque these motors make. Also the transmission on the Vision sounds like an old cement mixer. Clicking and clacking noises when cruising drive me crazy. Still shifts ok but I think one of the gears may have bad roller bearings. Not a well designed transmission.
I am sorry that you had that experience. I cannot say that my magnum has ever been anything but stellar.
I saw this video and went about finding that "O" ring... The parts store didn't know what I was talking about, if its not in their computer then it doesnt exist. I typed the 116 ring into google and it popped up on Amazon...i had to buy a bag full for about $10. The dealer does not sell the elbow or the o ring. But they did want $200+ for the hose that includes the elbow. Installing ithe ring and reassembling the recovery tank was a bit awkward but i did it!! Thank you for this video...no more leak!!
You are welcome. The part exists, obviously. Lol! I am glad this helped.
Make sure that it is a heavy duty one. If it is too soft it will not hold, and leak again.
The ones that I have are orange-ish.
@@BigBlackCorvette mine too
I'm definitely doing this, thanks for the tip. I found black ones on Amazon. Also our bikes are almost the same color..custom. LOL. Looks like we are both Vets too...too funny.
WHERE CAN I FIND THE AIR SHOCK WITH THE FOB?
Maybe witchdoctor customs, I think.
Bummer dude... fellow vet & motorcycle enthusiast here. I feel for you bro. The VA Healthcare system is sometimes hit or miss.
Great idea! So 3 magnets for each mounting position? For a total of 18 ??
My brother thank you for the great idea. I just have one request. show me that it actually works for the left side and I will be convinced. My left side cover has been the ban of my existence, and my right side gives me nooo problem anyway. Could you do a video showing everyone the left side which seems to give the majority of side panel problems for the entire XC family please my friend. your the man
I will gladly show you what I have done.
Thank you my man
@@CLDcycleservices Glad to help my Brother.
Sorry to hear that about not riding motorcycles anymore. Especially the magnum. I would hate not riding mine. I to was un the USAF. On that note, have you sold your bike yet, if not , would you be willing to sell your forged highway bars?
I am selling the bike outright for the time being. If I change my mind and decide to part it out, you will have first dibs.
@BigBlackCorvette Sounds good thank you and hope you get well I had issues some years ago with joint pain in my left knee and left wrist. I took a knee/joint/cartilage supplement called Zyflamed by New Chapter from my local Wholefoods store, and it worked great for me. Just a thought.
Thanks brother, I appreciate it.
@@BigBlackCorvette no problem
Awesome vid. Been dealing with this leak for a while now… it’ll leak when the car gets hot then cools down and there’s a little 3inch x 3inch coolant leak. Glad I don’t have to replace any of the hoses.
Enjoyed the video; thanks for the information and the link. Will definitely use it!
Have had two XC bikes & never had a problem with these. I think it’s more operator air not lining up pegs before you give them a good smack and push making sure they click.
I was having an issue with them falling off. Specifically, the left one.
@@BigBlackCorvette ok good to know
Yes especially my left... I've got a Power Commander 5 stuffed under there, and it holds on by a thread.
also pretty dumb to be smacking them

Good tip. I was just thinking of a sulolution for this a couple hours ago. Thanks!
You’re amazing, I had no idea where this tiny leak was coming from. Thank you 🙏🏼
I am glad that I was able to help you resolve your issue.
Thank you so much !!! The dealer wanted to charge me 680$ to replace the entire assembly 🤦🏼♀️ then they said they didn't have any (3/4) o-rings in stock 🤔
I am glad you did not pay them. And, you fixed it yourself for cheap.
I have a leak too on my z06. I know its the coolant. It comes and goes. It will leak a bit for one day and won't leak again for a week. Is it best to change the O ring from the bottom of the car?
No. I would just pull the coolant reservoir off and replace it that way.
@BigBlackCorvette awesome thanks.
@BigBlackCorvette I have a quick question. I'm about to do this tomorrow, did you have to remove those dry sump oil lines or just move them to the side?
@@josephhernandez5986 I worked around them. They should be loose enough to move to the side.
@@BigBlackCorvette okay thanks! Looks pretty tight in there. I'm going to have to be extra careful. Its crazy how I haven't had a leak in well over a week and then it comes back out of no where.
Smart! Thanks for sharing!
What was that O ring number again?
LOL!
@@BigBlackCorvette just kidding man. Thx for the help. Fixed my problem
Haven't had an issue with my Magnum yet but I did buy some extra grommets when I had the chance. Another idea I heard of was putting a small piece of shrink tubing over the nipples. Tightens them right up.
I did the shrink wrap thing, and it lasted for a bit. I am now probably going to use quick releases on them.
