Metroid Prime Remastered Part 9: Appeasing the Elders

As Samus continues exploring the ruins, she heads into the place she fought Flaagrah.....and encounters what one can only call "ghosts". These Chozo Ghosts attacked her on sight, attacking then disappearing the next moment. She had to stay on her toes to try and keep up...after exorcising them, another artifact revealed itself. She had a feeling this wouldn't be the last she sees of them, however.
As she continues through, finding a way into the furnace via the Spider Ball, she finds more rooms with more Chozo writing. They mention that the Phazon came from a meteor from space and began corrupting the planet. To try and contain it, they built a temple called "The Cradle" and placed the Cipher and the 12 artifacts to keep it from corrupting any further. But they knew it would not last forever....and so they scattered the artifacts to keep them from being misused. The one who would find the artifacts and face "The Worm" would be known as "The Entrusted One"...the one who would put an end to the calamity. Guess this means Samus is now that very savior....
In a place called "The Hall of the Elders", a giant statue of a Chozo elder was found....and another ghost haunting it. Another piece of writing reads that the Chozo's own will surpasses their mortal coil...but with no reasoning or mind of its own, it became wild. This would explain the attacks on any who enter this sacred place...
Further exploration of the room and the ones beyond have now bore cold, hard results; in the form of the Ice Beam, yet another weapon Samus recalls and will definitely be useful....especially against the Metroids. After exploring as much as she can, she finds an elevator back to the surface. At the end of the hallways, she finds herself outside and discovers part of the space frigate which apparently crash-landed here. Upon defeating a few, she finds a broken crate filled with a glowing ooze....perhaps this was the "Phazon" the pirates were experimenting with. She returns to her gunship to repair her suit and reload her ammo for what's to come next.
