Via is definitely the way to go in Ontario and Quebec! I like the business class option because when I get to my destination, I don’t need a meal right away because I ate so well on the train! I’m going to miss the LRC equipment, but it would be neat for you to do a review on the Charger equipment. Nice catch of the Every Child Matters Locomotive on the CP train too!
@@NokiTravels ah you seem to be active on the viarail subreddit, folks had posted it there if you aren't aware, I was gonna search it for you, but since you already are there, just search for the chargers if you do not know of the schedules already
Nice content Noah. Train trips are one of my favorites it's an adventure outside the everyday. I would love to see more of your travels you are such a good presenter.
I have taken a few rounds trips between Montreal and Toronto in business. I feel like it's the most comfortable way to travel. It's 5.5 hours, no traffic, get services especially in business, and on top of that you get access to the lounge on departure and arrival. Some times, if you plan a few weeks ahead, you can get business tickets as low as 130$ one way and if you book on a Tuesday, use the code Tuesday to get an additional 15% (basically saves your taxes in Quebec).
Great video. I accidentally booked a first class ticket from Ottawa to Montreal and I loved my experience on via rail. I’m planning to go to Montreal this summer and I’m going to book another first class. PS Fallowfield station in Ottawa is not close to the Ottawa International Airport . The main station (Tremblay) is. If you get off the Via rail Tremblay station, you can take a connecting bus that will bring you to the airport in 10 minutes. Fallowfield station is in a part of Ottawa called Barhaven, which is quite far from the airport.
Actually, Fallowfield is much closer in a straight-line distance, 'as the crow flies', but the road and transit network don't connect across the Rideau river at that point.
I recently took Via for the first time from Ottawa to Montreal (economy). I had a great experience, so if I want to splurge, I'll try business class sometime. That Via hat you have looks really nice. Where did you get it?
When I go back to work at VIA, yes I will, but I am looking to make a VIA Rail video in the near future that will meet the requirements of their social media policy so I can keep it up :)
I am the 900th subscriber :) your videos are really good
Thank youuuu 🫶🫶
Nice to see another video. I enjoyed the trip. Hope to see more.
I’m planning on it, thanks Tom!

I don’t know when the new equipment is running, any advice would be great! And as an Indigenous Canadian, I made an effort to film it!

Thank you so much!! I hope I can make more VIA Rail videos on top of the ones I already made :))
Great vid. Good to see you back on the rails and I enjoyed seeing the business class offering of VIA. Production values constantly evolving, too 👍
Thank you so much Chris, it’s great to keep hearing from you!!

@@A_Canadian_In_Poland by transit ( bus and train) it takes me 10 minutes by Tremblay station. 1h 20 minutes from Fallowfield.
@@Busybeeee I was referring to distance, not time.
@@A_Canadian_In_Poland yes, makes sense! Public transit is horrible here in Ottawa but with a car the distances/times may be better.

Well, fun fact…I work at VIA! That was my work hat :)
