    There are about 136 most important guitar techniques promoted here on YT which you should practice every day.

    Important stuff, I’d argue that these techniques are an essential part of what gives a guitarist their individual voice on the instrument. Great lesson, thanks for what you do.

    Thanks for the deep dive into how to add vibrato to bends, Jordan. something I have been wanting to learn for quite some time now. Now that it is clearly done by wrist movement, not fingers, I have already gotten great results. Thanks again! Liked and subscribed.

      That’s great to hear! Bends and vibrato are often overlooked and also very easy to do with improper technique making it even more challenging. I’m glad I could help!

    This has added to my playing. Pulling off when going from higher notes to lower notes has made my playing more fluid also.

    Bending and vibrato is really our secret weapon.. its the one thing unique to guitar other instruments can't do.. great lesson dude 🤘

      @JordanSteele  17 дней назад +1

      Absolutely! It’s so important also not only does it set guitarists apart it’s one of the things that really sets each individual guitarist apart. There’s been many times I’ve been able to tell who a guitarist is just because of their bends and vibrato🤘

    As soon as any instructor points to bends/vibrato as carrying the most weight towards lead guitar playing, I know they are the real-deal, if I didn't already.

    • @JordanSteele
      @JordanSteele  17 дней назад +1

      Absolutely! I don’t believe any other technique can bring out so much emotion and help tell a story better than good bends and vibrato

    • @stricknine8623
      @stricknine8623 17 дней назад +1

      @JordanSteele I think that you get the most mileage and the biggest impact from acceling at vibrato/bends and the various types of bends. (Ghost bends, pre-bends, quarter step, blue note bends, half step, whole step, 1st to minor 3rd, ect.)
      If someone could only be great at just one element of playing lead guitar, I think this would be it. To the casual listener, I come across as a much better player than I actually am because I sort of gravitated towards honing this in my playing. Probably because, in 44 years, I've never been great at all the other stuff.
      Btw...You are an outstanding young musician/guitarist in all aspects of guitar and music. Keep up the great work. I think the return on your investment will end up to be much more than just rewarding.

      I always felt that's what makes a guitar stand out above moset instruments. You can't bend a piano key and get that feel a guitar does. Guitar will always be on top! @@JordanSteele

    OK but you don't always bend a note to get to another note of the scale. There are lots of interesting notes between - say - C and C#.

    • @JordanSteele

      Jordan don’t apologize to trolls. The fact they brought age into their complaint definitely shows how jealous they are that you’re a better player than they are and just want to try to make you feel as bad as they do in their daily lives. 😂
