At first I wasn't willing to play this map. I believe the chance of success would be low due to lack of ways to burst Harold down. My initial idea was to stall him out for 999 seconds to remove the wind in phase 1, which would allow me to really easily stall him in his phase 2. But this proved to be far too cumbersome to pull off. On the last day I decided to say screw it and see if it was feasible to just deal with him properly in phase 2 with all his nukes and all the other enemies trying to kill me as well, and it turned out that yes it was entirely possible.

To my surprise despite the high op count that RS-8 requires RS-EX-8 still proved doable using an entirely different style of play, Guard stalling. Although the stall lasted for a very short amount of time.
The main idea is that Noire Corne S1 makes him stop blocking the enemy when used, which allows me to deploy a different guard to tank hits from Harold while Noir Corne is healing himself up. I need 3 operators who can tank 2 hits each to cycle, which lead me to using Specter Matoi, and unexpectedly Flamebringer. Flamebringer is the only other 5* op aside form Matoi who has the module that prevents death, which makes him a great option to tank Harold. Windchime S2 would work as well but in practice she gets frozen before she can use her skill and costs too much dp.
Phase 2 is the real meat though. The 2 issues is that I need all 5 fires up in order to prevent him from spamming nukes, and that I need La Pluma alive at all cost. The tile in between the 2 fires is needed to reach the rightmost fire but any op deployed there would die after Harold uses his unlighting skill. This basically forced me to use 2 Ranged Guards instead of 1, Arene ended up being a forced pick. If Harold unlights fires in between 2 different invincibility phases then I'm screwed because he will unlight the fires while he's setting up his nukes. I had to deal with he first 50% of his hp right before his skill charged for that. I got him down from 75% to 50% without him even getting off a single auto attack. After he uses his skill I have to wait for them to be lightable before I can attack, but that's perfect cause I need to wait for the ops skill to charge anyways.
As for keeping La Pluma alive this was simple. Harold's ranged attack prioritises ops next to the fire, and when phase 2 starts his first attack is ranged. That's ok though because he unlights the fires for me so I just need to delay lighting it up until after he does his attack. The global ranged snipers also prioritise ops next to the fire but I always deployed my tank next to a fire as well so it was all good. When the snowball enemy comes close I just splitbox him into La Pluma's range so she can heal herself.
As for minor stuff, the left area is funny because it's the perfect place to setup Amiya S2. This is a super rare moment where Amiya's 80 res from S2 comes in clutch, as she no sells the nuke, casters and the snowball thanks to it. After I killed Harold I completely screwed up on retreating Noir and Specter for dp but it works out anyways cause of Flamebringer.

So what you mean by it's actually doable without arene later on is because he can be substituted by ayer, i guess? Or am i wrong?
Cause i saw u deploy arene twice (if i'm not insane atm) to light the center heater and rightmost heater on phase 2
@@drsnorlax_felineknights The first Arene deployment I can just deploy Ayers.
I can remove Arene if I retreat Leto after after phase 1, she will redeploy in time to deploy after Ayers.
