I absolutely love this song. I'm a loud person by nature. And my entire life I've been told that I'm too loud. My stepfather destroyed my self esteem as a teenager, and my mother is... Oppressive we'll say.. So to have a song that will remind me on the daily to just keep getting stronger and rise above the noise until only mine remains. It's beautiful and I love it. Well, just like Icon For Hire you only have one... but I think that Lindsey created some amazing pieces, even if there are other songs of hers that I don't love, neither. But she's a fighter and a narrator and loving - Icon are fighters, psychological and loving; she doesn't have a voice, but her violin speaks, while Icon have a hell of a voice and instrumentals, but right now are only counting on guitar and piano; and they both mix up with electronic; Lindsey has never done a collaboration with a band that I know, only with singers, and Icon have never done a collaboration at all. I would be so damn curious to hear what their talents mixed could create. Just think the power of Ariel's voice, her piano, her heart-shaking lyrics, Lindsey's violin, with her ability to put images and trips in music, Shaun's skills with mixing and guitar... I think they would have a damn good time playing together, and that the results couldn't help but be amazing :D
