I'm still here! This video was very informative and I appreciate you sharing the tricks you've discovered. They make the Moto all the more enjoyable. 💯
I bought this for $40 on straight talk because my g power broke. I'm probably not going to have it for more than a couple of months because I'm planning to switch back to Metro but it works fine for now
I bought a Moto G Play 2024 and its having charging issues...only charges when off or after I power cycle..doesn't charge when you just plug it in when already on..says it is and turbocharging notification come on but isn't charging (I have tried, different charges/cables/outlets)...anyone having this issue? Thanks
@@cupidok2768what's 4 gigs of RAM with 2 gigabytes of virtual. Mine had very little bloatware I think it had two apps that I was able to uninstall. But it depends on your carrier sometimes. My phone has no charging issues
On my 2021 I used a 'pen markup' option in a wider area, on a screenshot or pic edit. But now it's just a thin little mark/ line!? Is there something I'm missing here to change and be able to have different sizes of the mark?
I'm not going to watch this video. It's title has 49 reasons I don't care about. I have a Motorola idk. It's screen is broken on 3 sides with a crack down the middle. I keep thinking of replacing it but it does 4 things I like. 1, since I know nothing of tech, all I have to do is talk to it and it does what I want. 2, it does RUclips well. If I don't know how, I talk to it and it shows me how. 3, It makes phone calls. 4, The flashlight shake, maybe my favorite feature. I often need a light on my job,in my life. I just reach in my pocket, grab my phone, shake it twice, I have light. Also, only cost $130, now I think $150.
You can always use Google lens. Take a screenshot of this video when it's showing the background. Open the image in Google lens. Then if I remember correctly you can drag a selection window over his phone. And then Google will scour the internet and show you all the sources you can find that host this image. Sometimes I can't find things though in which case it will probably show you similar images. Anyway I'm sure you found it by now, but just a tip for the future anytime you need to find an image
You have to enable Google assistant. Go to the app simply named Google. And then find settings and there should be an assistant settings help you set it up. Then you can say "hey Google, call ___", and it should work from any screen including your home screen. It'll even do it if your screen is off.
You open gboard settings which is the Four Square Icon at the top left of the keyboard itself. Rummage around in there and you can turn off the emoji suggestions bar and disable the button beside the spacebar I believe
Its garbage, same old processors, pictures nothing to write home about but for the price point i brought one from Walmart for 39 dollars to replace a 2023 moto g play that Verizon brought out Motorola and sent a malicious update that disabled carrier service and disabled the wifi calling toggle switch rendering my phone useless, Verizon needs to be investigated for this business practice
Lol don't blame the phone for your shit luck. It's a great phone for the price... Honestly I would say it's like 80 to 90% as fast as my pixel 7 that broke, and it's less than 1/3 of the price. The universe doesn't like you, that's all. I have no idea why is yours was so cheap, was it financed or a special deal ?
@@d-rockanomaly9243 - No I honestly don't know why it was cheap, last year I paid 179 dollars for the same phone n same phone was marked down in 2024 , only difference is at now with the increase in storage to 64 gigabytes it was nice to hold all my music 3,000songs plus 68 full albums and have plenty of room for more music to download and for some reason now the phone is also unlocked after two months of use which means now I have a choice of several carrier service other then Verizon.
Also I should let you know my Motorola g play Android model wasent the only one affected by Verizon, many other models were also affected so its nothing to do with the universe but by Verizon malicious update to shut down previous carrier service and wifi calling so as to make us pay and use their carrier service.
Settings is always in the app tray on any Android phone I believe. Including this phone. Not sure what you mean by favourites, but if you swipe down the notification tray, and then swipe down again to extend it all the way to the bottom, there is a settings icon there. Usually Android has it at the top of the screen so you only have to swipe down the tray once. My favorites do you mean the five icons along the bottom on the phone screen? Yes you can place a settings icon there, that is also something you can do on any Android phone.
@@d-rockanomaly9243 my 4 main buttons on the lower 1st screen has phone text settings and camera and above that 4 tiles moto, my sites, google, play store then above that the G search window, I would like to have a settings button on any screen visible whether its the 1st page or next app tray page (I hate phones and miss walkie talkies LOL)

I'm hoping to get this phone in a couple of weeks I've done a lot of research. For the money so far, it looks like a pretty decent phone.
@Planet_Shel yup this phone is impressive for the price
It's good. My screen finally broke. Now I'm using the CAT Flip 22 Phone
How do you remove something from the suggestion options when sending a photo? Looked everywhere and can't find a option that helps.

You probably figured this out by now but long press on the home screen, go to home settings, then go just swipe access, and then select 'nothing'

Time stamps would be helpful
