This was an amazing band that was seriously underated..............Price never got the respect he deserved, and well, look who they spawned, one of the great gravelly voices of rock Mr Farlowe and of course one of the greatest drummers of all time Mr Palmer!!
Atomic Rooster were a very tight band, Vincent Crane was the leader of the band he suffered from depression. He wrote some pretty great lyrics, Nick Graham on Vocals and Bass and on Drums one of the top 5 ranked drummers of all time Carl Palmer. This is my favorite of their three great albums. Broken Wings is from their 1970 debut it featured more Hammond Organ than any other album. Death Walks Behind You is a great follow up as well!!!!!
Grupo buenísimo ooo... Vincent, jhon can, hicieron volar su imaginación... Grande atomic rooster, que vuelva el rock clásico, algo se hace x ahí con rival son, greta van flit, David nowles.
this is so much melodic I just can't stop listening organ is terrific, but bass is not simple either singer is also a very good match for the others it's just perfect
algum brasileiro por aqui? i am from brazil não tem como não viajar nesse som, me desconecto da realidade me sinto melhor quando ouço. obrigado por existir... very good, thanks
They had a lot of great people passing through the ranks... They had four great drummers (at least) , Paul Hammond, Carl Palmer and Rik Parnell (who became the drummer for spinal Tap!) - Even Ginger Baker played with them for a short while.
For all of Carl Palmer and Chris Farlowe's genius, In Hearing Of, from '71--just after Palmer, just before Farlowe--is actually far and away the best Rooster album.
Basically a pre-cursor to ELP. Because it's organ-driven power trio, and Carl Palmer in it. Maybe that's how Palmer got the idea to organize a band as a trio without guitar player

This isn't Chris Farlow here! It's Nick Graham.
@@RA-lt7zg Whilst Chris Farlowe shows his prowess as a vocalist. I prefer the song with John Cann.
Thx anyway.
Ah ... the Days before Chris Farlowe joined. Completely different timbre to his voice.

The beginning is beauty, reminds me of spaghetti Westerns.

Groupe majeur dans l'histoire du Prog !
The original by John Mayhall is every bit as good as this, may a little deeper and blue.
Fuckin great!!! Deserve way more credit than they got. Never even heard of them until just recently.

This song has a Fuzzy Duck-ish / Deep Purple-ish organ sound that makes it just perfect!
masterpiece !
Bravo !!!!!
Merci.
Rooster rules for ever
This is FIRE 🔥🔥🔥🔥
buenisimo!
1st single I bought devils answer, went halfers with a pal! At primary school, still listen regularly even now. Du can vocals the best.

If you smoke good shit this music tochs you. I think! I'm right?
Porraa
@_@ thats cool
Perhaps a little overstated. I think I will stick to the Mayall version - more subtle and tender.
It's a pity that this trio didn't go the distance, but then there would have been no ELP!
quisiera saber la traducción al español ??

Yes it's Mayall's tune but i think it Arthur Brown sing...
The voice and song reminds me of Beth Hart.Did she cover it too.
Right. ..... These guys were good .... not much commercial cache ... but so what the y made good music.
who was singing for the band at the point?
i highly doubt it was Chris farlow a
Yes lots got it wrong here! It's Nick Graham
