This little Miss will go far in life. It’s not important that she fell. It’s important that she got right back up and finished her performance. Bravo!
Absolutely! May the Lord God protect her ❤
Well said👌
Se alla bambina ...come a moltissime....piace ballare...va bene...😮 ma qui ..credo centri il fatto ...se può...scegliere, di ballare esibendosi in strada!!😢😮😢😮😮😮😮
She’s already mastered a life skill that I’m still working on as an adult. Such a valuable skill to have, too!
It’s amazing what a little encouragement does for fellow humans.
I never thought a child this age could earn my respect for their discipline, focus & bravery. Brought tears to my eyes.
Why should a child of such a young age be forced into such pressure as trying to earn people's respect. She must be miserable inside. I remember being 6 and joining football because the adults wanted me but I absolutely hated doing it.
@@curiousnomadic projecting
So beautiful 🎉🎉🎉❤
@@curiousnomadicSorry you had miserable experience, but you don't know this child's life or experience. As a child I had wanted to learn folklorico Spanish dance, but there was no money for lessons or shoes. A neighbor taught me a little bit and she was strict and it was hard, but I learned it meant a lot to me. If nothing else, I learned that it takes dedication to do things well.
@@curiousnomadic glad someone besides me is saying it... She seems to be under enormous pressure. I don't know if she is putting it on herself or if she gets punished if she misses a step etc.
People are saying "projecting"... It is up to all of us to protect children. Even if she is causing all the stress on herself, she needs to get talked to about it. She looks miserable as she is dancing. I mean even before she fell
THE SPIRIT OF THE HIGHLANDS IS ALIVE AND WELL IN THAT ONE!!!!!!!!!!
INDEED 💯 😉🤩😍
SCOTLAND FOR EVER!
Aye!
I am a 76 year old Englishman, and I have to admit to having a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye. Bravo little miss.
The lesson for all of us. You fall down, you get up, you move on! Great kid!
yeah and the clapping enforces that. I love people when they are nice to others
Depends on how hard you fall... and what you have left to get back up...
Brilliant. I needed to hear that❤
As Chumbawumba reminded us.
Good grief! I'm 55 and couldn't do this. Those are a LOT of steps for a little one to remember! She did awesome!
You have to remember , at this age their brain is absorbing so much information. They are learning machines. The first three years you are learning how to human and they go from a lump of meat that cries to a walking talking problem solving/causing entity with their own personality. It's amazing watching a baby learn new skills. The older we get, the harder it is to pick up new skills. Those brand new brains are incredible.
My thoughts exactly, aspire. Not only could I not remember all the steps, I’d probably need assistance getting up!
Same
@@kathywrightjohnson6804I get what you’re saying but most children at this age dance WAY more basic than this. If you ever watch a preschool ballet recital or something you know this is super advanced for her age lol
I can remember my cell number and that' about it.
Only 4 years old ..... I'm amazed. The dance looks complicated, it's long, and her recovery from the slip was outstanding.
I feel so hopeless in life, watching this child dance gave me a touch of joy. God bless the child.
❤
What a special child. Not only did she remember the difficult dance, but she never lost concentration. She fell, but She Got Up. She already knows the key to a sucessful life.
Oh, please. I am sure that she practiced this dance a thousand times. Of course she remembered. And she is too young to understand embarrassment of mistakes.
@@zoey2868 Says the 'Im never going to have children' but I know everything about them.
And those swords are huge in proportion to this little poppet.
Or she got beat into performing perfectly lol. As someone who comes from tiger mom country, I can see that's probably what happened. I hope not.
Unlikely.@@dxcSOUL
i am a highland dancer and that was incredible❤😊
Same here, and I don’t think I have ever seen any else who was that young do a sword dance that well. They are usually just learning the basic steps at that age.
I used to be one too.Never saw someone that young doing a sword dance!Remarkable!
THANK Y♡U for keeping this deep heartfelt dance ALIVE for generations! Hats off to you for keeping it so❤
I took up Irish dancing at 38
Played music l hadn’t heard at first competition and l froze, my 40th birthday
They restarted and l came fourth. (Last really)
These dancers l love but love this little girl more.
Even placing swords back in place.
Hope she never looses her incredible big spirit.
Brings back memories. Instead of doing ballet like all the other little girls I did Scottish Dancing. Odd also because I am not Scottish at all. I think it was cheaper than ballet. I remember one time we were performing for a hospital with disabled kids. One of the girls kicked her sword and it went across and off the stage, clanking to the floor. She got a standing ovation. The kids thought it was part of the act and loved it. Even mistakes can sometimes turn into great events. . The girl kept dancing as if both her swords were still there. She was great, no matter what never break from the dance, just like this sweet girl did.
My mate has a kid about that age, still spends most it's days eating crayons ! Bless her
The dance was incredible because of her age but what it made it even more incredible was how well she handled that fall and picking up right where she left off. Amazing!
Absolutely 💯 🎉🎉🎉❤❤
That’s a really special child. Complex steps for such a little one, with courage and determination to get the job done!
calm down...bit OTT.....complex, for you maybe
Oh boy another unhappy Keyboard warrior

.. love how the piper doesn't miss a beat ..& that pint sized preciousness got up & kept on dancin' .. highland dancing is very demanding, takes being an athlete ... couldn't say why, but the wee dancer makes me think of Shetland ponies .. love how the crowd applauds her getting up & continuing ❤🙏🏽 (🇨🇦)
I love the fact that she did not let the fall bother her.
a winning attitude will carry her far.
This child is much more skillful than most adults. Good going, little.
Elderly Aussie: - This little darling may well become a World Champion in years to come. So much Poise & Determination.
She is the definition of keep calm and carry on
Please let this young lady know how precious she is. A bright future ahead
Little Scottish dancer was precise and nimble on her tiny feet, really impressive dancing for such a young lady, thank you, I loved watching ❤
WOW this shows much more than the dance. When she fell, and got right back up, without any encouragement, and kept on going. Tenacious !
Yep! The fall didn’t seem to phase her at all. She straightened out her ‘swords’ and got right back to it. I love how the crowd first gave applause for her getting up and then clapped along with the music as if to encourage her to keep going.
She didn’t let her fall fluster her - rearranged her little swords and carried on dancing-bless 😊❤
She is learning. Who doesn't fall from time to time. She got back up . Keep on keeping on little one. You got this.
This little lass is the definition of the Highland spirit!
Loved watching this.
Ayo she got incredible rhythm for her age!!! And the way she knew exactly where she was in the step after that oopsie!! Well done young one.
I can’t get over her remembering the whole of the sword dance! The focus and determination! The cuteness overload. What a clever and beautiful child. 🏴💕🏴💕🏴💕
Absolutely precious. The culture lives on through children like her.
What a beautiful Highland lassie. She definitely put a smile on my face
I’m sitting here clapping her on with a tear in my eye. Bonnie wee lassie. So cute. 💕👏💕👏💕👏

❤ This beautiful young lady has taught the World a valuable lesson...."WHEN YOU FALL, PICK YOURSELF BACK UP AND PROCEED " Bless her young Soul ❤
This the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen! What a determined little dancer!!
She is unbelievable. To do this complicated dance at such a young age...in front of a crowd yet. I truly admire her. And so, so adorable. Go get 'em, Lucy!
I am amazed this small child has accomplished this level of dance…that was incredible!!!!
God bless her spirit, she made the ancestors proud!❤❤❤❤❤
10 seconds into the video, she won my heart, appreciation, respect, blessings, and love. This was one of the cutest and wonderful video by a toddler.
She is a true performer. That baby got up, fixed the sticks and kept dancing..just wow
Awww a precious 4 year old little girl that danced her dance and fell but didn't give up and finished what she started. Bless her heart. 💞😇
People with the courage to get straight back up and carry on, are going to be champions.
It takes composure and courage to continue when a performance doesn't go the way you wanted it to. Well done, young lady.
She’s absolutely incredible! So glad she refused to allow that fall to deter her in any way!
I was not expecting such a great dance! The steps, the patience and the determination are outstanding. I hope to see more accomplished dances as she grows. 👏
Amazing little miss & crowd, love how they clapped to cheer her on & be United in her ultimate success. Well done!!
It's a definition of determination, and never giving up
You beautiful child! Cheers from Oregon U S A !
Oh this wee lass ✨ sparkles🥹HAD to watch over & over- her performance & perseverance is SO inspiring! Thank you for sharing!!
Her determination to do it and do it right was inspiring. Anyone can step on their sword, but not everyone shakes it off, gets up and finishes strong. Bravo!!!
Omg, what a determined little cutie. Love how she raised her arms. Job well done!
Determination is a sign of success. Incredible how this beautiful child picked herself up and kept going. Thumbs up to her.
What a wonderful little girl! Such a fantastic job with that complex dance and then not only did she get right back up to continue but she even got to straightening out the swords herself before the teacher got in there.
That is the cutest and youngest Dancer i saw in my whole life! And she performed absolutely perfect
God bless this little darling. She has great courage. Keep dancing tiny dancer!
I am very much impressed by Miss Lucy Clark! What a good job for a child of her age.
Now that was the most courageous thing I’ve ever seen on the internet. Bravo! Keep dancing little sister!
I love her!❤❤ she was getting up regardless of the claps. Her spirit was getting up! PERIOD! ❤❤
This little girl melted me. What an adorable disciplined and brave little girl she is. Brought tears to my eyes as well.
That was remarkable in all aspects . Showed tallent and bravery , to continue like she did . Parents must be so proud.
My heart!!!!!! It just can't handle all this Preciousness❤❤❤❤❤ This is just so precious and her technique with hand positioning and feet were just so good. Just too Adorable!
She's so good and such a beautiful little girl, we didnt want her to stop. Strange we saw the fall as part of dance and kept waiting for her to continue.
So beautiful when parents teach their children to continue their heritage dances, clothes, etc. Love it! .
What a beautiful little girl with a determination to perform with precision and she’s a perfectionist
Bless her wee beautiful heart
The most gracious and enlightening fall for me
How darned sweet! Good girl, picked herself right back up and continued! That's a real dancer!🤗
RUclips feed algorithm... why? But this was so adorable. Those little hops melted my heart 😄
This should make the news. I’ve never seen anything so good!
Beautiful! She knew just what to do! ‘Keep on keeping on’ is quite a life lesson to have mastered at such an early age.
That dance takes so much strength and muscle. Bravo for not giving up.
That was some performance. Only 4 years old with a poise and resilience that many would envy. Well done, tiny dancer.
Woweee!!! 👏 👏 👏 That was outstanding! Wee girl doing all those moves!! Super impressed!!!
She did amazing 👏 👏 👏
UNreal, the most beautiful thing I saw today.
Aww, sweet lassie. I live in Canada and my ancestors crossed the pond in 1892. I was put in Highland dancing at 7 and learned the sword dance, I could never do it as well as this wee one.
The crowd of clans couldn't be more kind-hearted.
You Go Girl!
That baby is talented, as well as being a natural performer! No tears, not upset, just got up and finished the dance!
It's amazing how long that dance was and she did so well. What a little sweetheart
So very precious! ❤
The way she just got back up after a fall shows us all the Scottish way... Grwat performance young one...
Will not steal.
Will not make life miserable for others.
Will not use everyone else for her own purposes.
All because she's been taught discipline, perseverance and resilience from this early age.
It is THAT simple, folks.
People are too stupid to pickup what you're laying down. But, I agree. It's taught at a young age or it won't work.
Why must so many talk down to people in order to teach your lesson? Also, why do so many people on RUclips assume the rest of the users are just stupid, careless idiots. As though they are the only ones in the world who ‘get it’. There are a billion comments on this app assuming exactly the same thing about you guys, too. It creates a negative impression of the world for everyone. Look at all these comments on this video - they are nearly all positive. Human beings deserve credit sometimes. The media and the internet usually only portray the worst of humanity. There are far more decent human beings than you realise, they just aren’t getting the same attention. Let’s start giving that attention. Positive attracts positive. That is how this little girl became the incredible being she is. I recognise that you are likely good humans at heart, perhaps you could stop assuming everyone is stupid or morally beneath you, and try raising them up instead? That’s the most effective way to bring about change anyway, and yes, you absolutely _can_ change yourself no matter what age you are. It’s all about the belief system. Peace 💜✨
AMEN ❤
Well, THAT was an impressive leap of logic.
After I saw your comment, I had to watch the rest of the video all the way through to see if there was some context that made it relevant, only to discover that there is no context for your comment besides misogyny and some bad personal experiences you have clearly had, that have caused you to project them out into the field of all other women in the world, even when the woman in question is a little girl. You, sir, need a therapist. Or an exorcist... at least some Reiki.
And it's probably a little late in the game for Reiki alone to be affective, unfortunately.
What a champion, I think she's adorable !
Such a talented and determined little girl. Precious.
That was wonderful. Every step done with precision. The small fall was due to equipment not dancer. BRAVO
She's darling! Keep dancing!
This little girl is absolutely beautiful talented and determine in life we fall and we get back up many blessings to you little on❤❤❤
She is my new hero! It's incredible to see such a little girl do that big dance. She melted my heart!
A true Scot! Sometimes we fall but we always get back up! Oor bairns are tougher than the rest! 🥰💙🏴
"Bairns" isn't a Highland word. The rest of Scotland would like to be Highland, and tall and handsome like me. I have a superb bearing which, of course, is common to all Highlanders. The rest of Scotland is short. And they like to wear shellsuits. Did I mention how tall I am? Anyway, this girl may be very short, but she has gigantic composure and determination.
@johnford2508 What in the ever loving fuck are you going on about? Ya absolute weapon.
@@Miss_Ink_Addict I could use smaller words if you like?
@@johnford2508 😆 I will have to remember that one

Fantastique! Love from South of France ☀️☀️☀️
Me crying, God bless this little child,
She made me smile - what a special and talented young lady. I remember being a kid back in the late 70’s and wanting to learn the Highland dance when I was a kid as a nod to my Scottish grandfather James Macmillan who was born in Edinburgh.
