7:01 I have one of these thats about 5 feet tall, im sad that ikea doesnt sell them anymore. I like that theyre reflective, so you can get some extra light out of the grow lights.
I was extremely disappointed to see that they were no longer available 💔 I agree about the reflective quality. They’re also easy to clean, but don’t show as much dirt as glass! Seriously, how could you, IKEA?!? ☹️
I use the “under cabinet lights” for my succulents. I have an old TV stand that I use for them and have the lights on the shelves. For all of my other plants, I use the clip on, three prongs lights from Amazon. Some of them are the blue/red/purple lights and some are white. I’ve been using them for about a year now and they seem to work well, so I’m happy with them. If I ever end up cleaning off the top of my unit in my living room, and putting plants there instead of the “chatchkas/brick-a-brack”, decorative “stuff,” whatever you want to call it, I’ll look into the bulbs you recommended. I have a three bulb pole lamp near it that could be adjusted to give light to any plants on top of the unit… Thank you for sharing! 💜💚🪴
Thanks for sharing your experiences too! 💚 Lol I call those octopus lights! 😆 I’m glad they’re working well for you. I opted for the “under cabinet lighting” bc I didn’t personally like the look of the multi-arm ones. To each their own, I say ☺️ Hope you have a happy day, Sharon 😘
I was about to comment "What are you talking about? Ikea has Hyllis shelving" but no 😭 They only have the tall skinny one. I swear they had the others last fall 😮💨
I have used the sunblaster T5 style lights. They have been good for general growth but I haven't gotten any sunstressing from them. I will have to try the 6400K. 🌱🌞
