Kindness 101: A look at leadership

Now to the series "Kindness 101," where Steve Hartman and his children share stories built around kindness and character, and the people who've mastered those qualities. Today's lesson is leadership. To find out what that means, Steve went to a skate park, where one middle school boy showed us what leadership with compassion looks like.

The word “leadership “ was defined as -
The art of motivating those with compassion.
The leadership lesson took us to Gavin a teenager and Carter a five year old who’s celebrating his birthday at a park. Gavin and his friends greeted Carter and spent time with him and his family at the park as kids celebrating his birthday which Carter’s mother spoke highly of them doing. Gavin explained 5 years later of him and Carter have kept in touch thereafter.
The statement Steve made of stepping in front of the crowd to do the right thing was well said.
