Oh I have a Rubik's Mirror Cube! It's solved the same way as a regular Rubik's Cube, but you have to go by shape, not color, so it's a very different experience. A scrambled Mirror Cube looks insanely complicated, but really it's no different from a scrambled regular cube.
I've finished the puzzle, but I did cheat a bit using online tools. ... I think there's a mistake in number 5, with an extra E, the second word should be "cr____d"
Can we compare notes for #16? I completed the sentence and while the letters can be rearranged in a few different ways, I can't come up with anything that particularly relates to Christmas or the holidays.
6:17 Tim Hunkin! I should've known he'd be friends with Tim Rowett. Hunkin created The Secret Life of Machines, a great show from the late 80s. He's currently got his own YT Channel @timhunkin1. If you like Grand Illusions you'll love Tim Hunkin!
Great video, but for some time I noticed that there may be something wrong with the microphone because left channel seem to be much louder than the right one.
Tim, if you think that cube is weird, ive seen cubes that use a mix of a square and triangular faces. A friend of mine who came from south korea had a bunch of weird cubes like that.
Tim, the Ames Window will look like this when you get it together. I hope the visualisation helps in your construction. 😊 ruclips.net/user/shortsw7yFikRD_iQ?si=10ji5VNkoz7YtkZb 💚🐇🐴💚
Trying to decode the "festive hidden words" puzzle, not sure if i am doing it correctly.. You are more than welcome to post the solution under this comment
"Xmas" is the answer to number 1. The letters of "xmas" complete each incomplete word in the sentence, so the first word is "Examples". I'll tell you that the first word in 4 is an Australian animal.
Tim is either the easiest or hardest in his family to x-mas shop for. Can't tell which.

The fact that my two favourite Tim’s are friends pleases me no end! 🥰🥰
Tim is the one man who deserves extra dimensional powers to make a world of endless toys.
The toy maker from doctor who?
Well that’s alright then
Underrated comment
Hahahahahaha
The thumbnail made me worried Tim got a Hellraiser Cube for Christmas. Glad to see he is alive and well.
LOL yeah
…now that you mention it 😱
i think the cenobites would be beaten by Tim’s ability to solve the puzzle in record time while charming the cenobites 🤣

Nifty trick to have the kitty stand up. Charming❤
I especially like the focal decoder. The wooden 'Three Kings' card also is v charming.
Nice one Tim! ⭐👍
8:23 sorry for preschool humor but this made me blow air from my nose

I love Tim Hunkin and love the fact that the two of you are friends!
I can see that Tim is a real expert at skate boarding.😁 By the way, that mini skate board toy is known as mini fingerboard.
That looks smaller than the ones I remember from 20+ years ago. Do you remember there were also finger BMXs and even finger scooters?

8:50 awesome optical illusion, very much recommend this for a future video to show that one off !
Nice to see you again Tim!
Can't wait to see Tim doing mad turns and grinds with that skateboard :D
I had that wierd cube. It's perfect if you want to solve one of these blindfolded.
I remember going to frankie and benny's as a child and their complementary colouring page came with those multi coloured pencils.
That puzzle took me quite a while, but I finally managed to solve all 18 sentences. Very fun but can also be quite frustrating.
I'm having trouble coming up with a Christmas-related word with the letters I used for #16. Any hints??
I want that colored pencil
Tim Hunkin! I love that Tim is friends with him!
That last card is epic.
Tin with the Tech Deck!
You got some lovely pressies and cards, Tim!
It could’ve really interesting making a collaboration episode showing machines and inventions from Tim Hunkin!
Always showing cool things. Thanks!

I’m surprised you’re not aware of finger boards. They were quite popular about 15 years ago
they might not have been big in the UK and he tends to eschew the trends…nowadays though? it’s a novelty, worthy of Tim
