Largest Field Battle I've Played - Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord (1500+ Men On Screen)

- By using the mods listed below, I achieved the results of what you see here. This was the biggest field battle I've been able to have without performance problems using a full Vlandian army of about 1100 versus a Battanian army of about 500. It's pretty packed and it makes you wish this game could do better in the battle size arena.

Great work on it! It's a must have for me at this point. Was really let down to see the battle AI in Bannerlord is basically as dumb and unorganized as it was in Warband.

They actually changed it so you can have 1000 units in the custom battles and in performance you can edit the total amount of units onscreen
Not just talking about the game but It's crazy how Calvary makes a huge difference. Enemy have a Calvary on both flanks so they can ride in and break the formation then enemy infantry moves in and start slaughtering. Calvary can move out and keep harassing the men from the flanks or rare, any unit would break. If you don't have the Calvary advantage then I guess pikemen are the solution but you can still get flanked.
Actually, you can make a square formation with a shield wall with infantry and shove your archers inside.
Best way to deal with Calvary, unless it's Archery Cav, hard to counter unless you have calvary yourself.

Hey! Just letting you know there is a mod for this game call bannerlord online which I believe has PvP against each other's warbands
Lmao that shit would've been straight over @ 4:56 without the divine intervention from the equestrian society right there. Swarmed by 4 heavily armored Battanian brutes. Shit was like right out of a movie where the main character has like Jon Snow's plot armor, just how perfectly timed and how stupid effective it was. Barreling over your closest target and incapacitating them. Creating distance between you and the 3 others, entirely cutting off the 4th from the engagement altogether.

One thing they miss is in every army there is about 10% percent who go the opposite of what you tell them :D

You can cycle through unit types with the D-pad on your controller while holding down the left bumper I believe.

It's all the calculations for the AI and the damage they are dishing out/taking I believe

i set the cap to 1000 per side but then only lets me do 100

No, unfortunately not, but apparently they have plans for it to be on the series X because it will be able to handle it. But you can get warband on Xbox, that's the game before this one
