Good video. You could say i'm married to a poverty girl. You have to use the "teach a man to fish" principle with the money. You dont deliver the fish (money). You buy the tricycle, They lease it for 20 PHP per day or something small. Therefore, no trike getting customers... no money. No farmland planted... no money.

My beautiful wife has been in the US almost half a year now. She's great. Everyone should have a wife like her. I don't have to tell her how to act or what not to wear. The Christmas before she came i sent her $100 and told her to get herself something. She threw a Christmas party for 50 underprivileged kids. Buying them sandals and basic clothing. Crayons and small gifts. Feeding them. She had as much fun as they did.

Hello regular guy. We met in Ayala in front of bubble tea store with my wife a week ago. You’re right about this. A simple Filipina doesn’t want much she wants to take care of you is happy with a simple meal and a simple house. She wants respect and a nice guy. She doesn’t care about a gold ring a fancy car or fancy clothes. My suggestion on meeting a simple beautiful Filipina where you shop or eat at and see a beautiful girl continue going back after a while either ask for her number or give her your number and then continue chatting. After she’s comfortable ask her to meet for a meal. And then treat her with respect and treat her right. Good luck.
Absolutely. Many girls do work their way through college. Wether via digital content, video chat, or taking a walk. It's sad. Many are very nice, but I recommend avoiding getting attached to them. They lose their ability to be satisfied with just one person's attention. They willingly become a girlfriend with a western guy, are sweet and take care of their guy. But they also overnight visit "relatives" with no aircon. 😅
Very true. For me I always check the emotional stability and sanity of the Filipina and that of her parents and family. I know many men who didn’t look at that and are forever condemned by having to deal with alcoholic parents and family or unstable, irrational parents and family. These men I see the stress take it’s toll on their physical and emotional health. I always tell men to slowdown. The vast majority are impulsive and pay the price. I have met very healthy parents rational reasonable parents as well. This can make a world of difference
Check for ADHD symptoms that the poverty girl might show after a couple of meetings and watch for signs with her family members as well. You don’t have to be a psychiatrist to quickly discern that something is afoot. If they have behavioural or physical health abnormalities of any sort, then move on. They are in chronic poverty for a very good reason.
Uh ...... cellphones and internet access are spreading across the world, followed by the plague of "wokeness" and feminism. It's becoming harder and harder to find a decent wife.
Agree, I had one picked out i was good friends with; In a matter of 2-months i watched her change from this humble, loving, respectful woman into a "boss b*tch" femme type, It was so disappointing to see this happened after becoming friends with a co-worker from Manila. We're seeing the feminist propaganda spread through music, tiktok and even local initiatives, Its sad but it seems like PH is going down the wrong road in that aspect.
Phones and social media is everywhere in the Philly-Willy, but Feminism and the woke mind virus is practically non-existent, since it would require them to watch angry, politically-charged videos in English (while Fils have no care for), and social justice/Feminism is a 1st-world luxury anyways.
Sorry You are only about 10% correct about leaving you in the states, unless the Western man has major problem issues.... one of my best friends married a Filipina for over 46 years ago at age 35, She was a widow with 5 year old boy, had college degree and within few years was teaching at nearby State college. She made yearly visits to PI but He stayed in states, was not worried because she would be back! The money sent to PI family support slowed down after few years, later their son got his college degree. He retired at 60, 21 years ago, so at 81 and few years ago had major medical issues today She is still with him!
My wife was not in poverty when I found her. After we were married, then came the poverty. My situation. She supported me in all ways. Now, ain't suffering at all.
Thank you Regular Guy Scotty! This is the bottom line. You explained it perfectly. Everything that I have been researching the last 4 years since I visited the PH in 2019, you hit the nail on the head. You are the only blogger that has the TRUE feet on the ground to back up what you’re saying.
Ideal situation. Only child, professional degree (medical). Older than 30, parents passed on, no desire to leave the Phil’s, then you’ll have a chance. Unless you enjoy financing an entire family.
Old saying, "Show me a beautiful woman married for a long time and I'll show you a man who's tired of fucking with her" Monogamy aint for me. I love pizza but could not eat it for every meal for the rest of my life. If there is no pizza I can't eat. NOT FOR ME
I’m married to a Filipina. Yeah she was poor but she has never asked me for a dime.. She had ran her own business since she was 13. I have never been happier. She is a hard working beautiful woman. She speaks three languages and her intelligence blows me away…Two people who need each other getting together is just natural. One gets a beautiful wife, the other gets security. So tell me? Does age really matter? It’s their life, not yours. Age difference is an American hang up. Asia doesn’t give a damn what America thinks…sorry…We live in the USA and she has never changed. My advice? Don’t marry one too young especially if you’re going to bring her to the USA. My wife was 31…
Raise them out of poverty and a bad situation, bring them to the US. and then they want their own bank account, own car, Louis Vouton bags and they forget about you.. never ask you how your doing.. and only their life matters anymore.. so if you go for a poverty baberoony.. keep them in Asia and live there..
Yep a woman has the same tendencies no matter where she is from but not all will leave ya but I would still sleep with one eye open lol😂 trust no one with your life savings
Check their politics-important. Racial prejudices especially if your white it’s very important. Double down. Financial philosophies-double down. Home decor-double down-go to a Mary grace resto and if they like the decor you’ll have what to discuss. Dietary health-double down. Vaccine adherence-double down. Mask wearing impulse-double down. I know guys who were anti vax and the kids were jabbed behind their backs. I still recommend Filipina women like everyone humans are complex so it’s not that simple.
I sponsor a college girl 18 yo. On Bahol , I wire her 40 $ 🇺🇸 monthly. Also I get her the occasional glasses , laptop coming up. I'm saving for that . So many kids want to go to school and cannot afford the ten dollars for the year. They end up not even getting an 8th grade education and go to work to help the family live. I'm not wealthy, small savings but I have my monthly pension 2400 monthly usa . That's why I am making the transition to move to Philippines 😊.
Lots of truth, the family will suck your wallet dry. And every year they will need more. Half these poor filipinas will have a Filipino boy friend on the side. If that's OK with you, go for it.
Selfishness and greed are becoming more popular over time. This is my 2 ND student I have sponsored the first graduated 5 years ago and works full time in Seattle for Google. She got me a dji drone for Father's day last year. Completely blew me away and brought tears to my eyes. Maybe one day you to can experience true gratification with love and friendship to boot. Greed sucks!!
@marvindockery-lo9cw her family has never asked for a thing besides I sponsor the student and couldn't afford to send more. The success of my first sponsor student is incredibly warming. I only hope for the same with this girl. It's about giving a chance to someone who never would have had the opportunity. Greed sucks and I can't imagine dieing selfish and greedy.
Have your girl stay at home and you give her $200-300 per month (spread out weekly or they will spend it all in 1 day and then ask you for more). She can send 1/3 to her family, save 1/3, and spend 1/3. Do you really want your fulltime girlfriend working 12 hours a day six days a week? She will be too tired from all the work and you might as well just be a single guy.
I saw a video, years ago, that I wish was still up. It was an Australian guy who described the Philippines as "dodos and hyenas." He meant that the men create young for others to raise (spot on) and women live by stealing and bringing the spoils back to the pack. "I want to help my family" is the war cry of the hyena. The FIRST thing you should say to any Filipina is "We will give your family exactly as much as we give mine." Problem solved.
You seriously got to watch out for the “I want to get fatty” mindset. A great many Filipinas actually look forward to a “good life” wherein they get junk food aplenty.
You are right on, about most of the Filipino gals, My friends Fillipiono wife, has for 18 years living in USA, has worked and sent all her money home to her family and your right, they spend it crazy, it she keeps sending it! My Filipino wife of 15 years has lived with me in USA for over 12 years, and did not change! Yes she now dresses as an American woman, but no makeup, she acts and feels no better the the Filipino’s, she has not changed from the providence gal I married! We now live in the Philippines.
Maturity is a hard thing to find among Filipino/as of any age. If you find a girl who is mature (doesn't matter how old she is), lock her down immediately. It may be a while before you find another one.
Those are real facts. Go to the Philippines with a good intention. At the end, we all have our past. Find the girl to be happy with and make her happy. It is not about you, but both of you and family. Her family is yours. It is not the westerners’ families. They don’t kick the kids out at 18. Family stay together
The older one may torment you for the bad men in her past...OR, a reasonable woman may blame herself for her bad choices and by comparison see you as the man god has saved and gifted to her. If the desert is tasty, used seconds are delicious.
Scott, I’m 61 old and beaten I still in OK shape my wife is 33 younger than me Filipino of course pageant quality beauty. I took a trip by myself yesterday had to stop at a bamboo shack on the side of the highway and ask directions from poverty people you should’ve seen the five star beauty peeking at me around the bamboo door. Oh my God, she was unbelievably beautiful I am happily married, but wow and yes, this was off the beaten track.
In the old days I would have asked her parents if she could please guide me and I would pay for her time I did find the bay now I am interested in buying a sailboat
It is true. My ex-fiance whose father was minimum wage employee. She did not like the Starbucks lifestyle. She thought she doesnt belong that lifestyle. We had 3.5 year relationship. So yep it is a reality that although there are some who will want that lifestyle even though being poor, some will think they dont belong. So find yourself who will like a simple life.

Love your raw honesty. I am currently here in the Phils and dating an older (50 looks 35 petite, pretty) and there are lots of pluses. Still you said some thought provoking ideas that I agree with.😅 We'll see.

I like Scotty reasoning and hope to meet you one day. Maybe to those who want to know where I am from is the Seychelles where you buy a kilo of tomatoes for 5 dollars a kilo of frozen chicken for 6 dollars and a kilo of tbone beef steak at 150 dollars.
Honestly, depends on which Filipina you meet and marry. And the age gap - if it is a very large age gap and you come back to the US, then you may have difficulty sustaining that married or relationship long term. My gap is 8 years and we have been married for 16 years. Maybe I just got lucky with God’s blessings we are still going strong. Both of us are very successful in our careers and quite happy…not perfect, but blessed and happy with 3 total children. Thanks for the honest opinion and take on relationships Scotty Boy. Take care always!
@user-iv3gp2em4w , not always do I dont always agree with Regular Guy, but he nailed this one on the head. Let's be honest. Why do you think so many foreign men go to the Philippines? I'll leave it at that.
Haha! I just started to watch your videos, and you’re pretty funny! I’m an American guy, but not a standardized American, as I am from Hawaii. Only haole boy in grade school, dad was a truck driver, so no private school, like rich plantation manager kids. So, first wife, local Filipina- Ilokana. 18 years later, I’m divorced, 2 children. Ran around a bit…a little babaero. What can I say, I’m a Regular Guy! Met my Visayan wife in Philippines in 2010, married in 2012, in Ormoc. She was 22, and I was 54 when we got married. She didn’t care! I was 32 years older! I didn’t care! she was younger! ( and good looking!) She lived in Hawaii for nine years, until I retired and we moved back to Philippines. We have a ten year old daughter. We (she) has a nice house I bought. Her family has food. In Hawaii, young guys would be snifin’ her butt, and whispering dump the old man. I mentioned that to her cousin, who also lives on Maui (He got us together) He said he would be glad to come over and smack her on the head, if I like. I said… no need! We worked it out. My wife is far from living in a nipa hut, half starved, not much to eat with 5 siblings, like before. She said they were lucky when the nice uncle brought a little dried fish. At 7, Her father was killed by a lightning strike when he was out plowing the rice field. So, all is good many years now. Living in Ormoc. Come and visit sometime!
I was listening to your story Scottie at work while working, and you had be in stitches laughing out loud. I was laughing so much that a gal in my department came over to me to see what the story was. Scottie you had a creative way full of charisma that is entertaining!!! Good Work my man!!!! Good work!!!!👍
I won't contribute $400 US dollars to my future Filipina wife. That's far too much. I have an American friend who gives his wife's family $50 US dollars every 2 months to just make their life easier, not to make them rich, Filipino style. The most I will allow is maybe $100 US dollars a month

Hey, i like some of that Christian rock but it's not the only thing i listen to. And i have no trouble with your content since I've been hanging around here forever. By the way, what city was this you are walking around in this video?
Great topic today Scott, I agree with almost everything you've said. Though typically, I don't agree with the whole 'westernization' of women concept. This is just me, but I believe a lady with a strong foundation in their cultural/religious traditions and values - along with an understanding of what it means to be a intimate partner, is something that isn't easily broken - if ever. Being a partner, a supportive and loving one at that, is something that should be taught and valued since birth from the actions of their parents. I do not believe any form of westernization or exposure to feminist ideals will easily sway these values, and if they have then I'm certain they weren't properly taught these values in the first place. It's just my opinion, I'm fairly certain many others think differently though.
Country gals are the best no matter where you find them, they are more down to earth and practical. If you marry a city gal they will expect more from you so they can keep up with the Joneses! Yea there are bad gals from the country as well, but chances are better of finding a good one from the country as a farmers daughter!
Scotty...."Poverty Wife".... Scotty, you crack me up.... Looking for "Love"... Scotty.....I think you should be looking for "Intelligence" ...in a woman as a wife....🤣 Many Philippinas are intelligent....and it has nothing to do with poverty.... If you want a "Diamond" in the Coal Mine.....as a wife.... You have to work a little harder and not judge a woman to be a good wife just because of in a poverty situation. A Great PHILIPPINA Wife has nothing to do with poverty. It all has to do with intelligence, morals, ethics and values. There is a lot of hardworking career orientated intelligent woman out there smarter than you and me put together.... Those are the diamonds in a Coal Mine....☺️
Give me an intelligent poverty wife over an intelligent, well to do wife, any day. There are a whole bunch of reasons why going for a woman who's lower on the socio-economic scale is a better bet than someone equal or higher.

If you're looking to settle down why not go for the best you can't get? Why let others opinions of your choices effect you? They don't have to live your life.
Off-topic somewhat for this video. My wife and I are in the process of moving from the Philippines to the US. I have an in-demand career and was offered a job in Canada. After some research, I had to turn it down based on the housing prices and COL. It also sounds like the healthcare has gotten really bad up there. I thought the US government has made a mess of things in the past decade, but Canada has possibly become the worst place to live in the western world (unless you established yourself there many years ago). My condolences, Scotty.
He’s doing everything he can to westernize her. More like exploitation for the sake of internet RUclips fame. I hope it ends well, but I think it can go south if he’s not careful.
Great video, one of your best! And since we agree they are a Tricky Breed, perhaps keeping her, and her family, at arms length would minimize Risk, Drama, & Expense: a nursing student f&&k buddy, (1000 pesos plus date expenses sounds ok), and when she graduates you trade her in for this years model, the way some guys buy a new car every few years...
I am confused??? There is alot of supply of these poverty girls and low demand because the local guys are not so interested in marry and take care of these girls. This is where the regular guy identifies the older retired fellows from the west who have a demand for a more simple & traditional wife. We have the demand, the poverty girls have the supply!
The inner suburban people in the Philippines were the most friendly hospitable people I came across, also the province. I think Men would enjoy Philippines more if they weren’t too obsessed with dating, have a look around and enjoy what the place really has to offer. The weather is the best.

So you're admitting they're only with you guys for money?
Sorry You are only about 10% correct about leaving you in the states, unless the Western man has major problem issues.... one of my best friends married a Filipina for over 46 years ago at age 35, She was a widow with 5 year old boy, had college degree and within few years was teaching at nearby State college. She made yearly visits to PI but He stayed in states, was not worried because she would be back! The money sent to PI family support slowed down after few years, later their son got his college degree. He retired at 60, 21 years ago, so at 81 and few years ago had major medical issues today She is still with him!

@@Jackjack72758Hey - if that's your idea of fun! Have fun in Pattaya!
Women are the same everywhere. They will wreck your life if they get the upper hand.
My wife was 31…
I totally agree that people can lose maturity as they age! That head jsut shrinks all on it's own!
😀Enjoying or straightforward and
frank way of story telling Scotty ...
Indeed. Get a green card, and then a new boyfriend!😜

What you're doing is a bad idea bro. Especially if you have a small budget and have to save up, to help her.

She can send 1/3 to her family, save 1/3, and spend 1/3. Do you really want your fulltime girlfriend working 12 hours a day six days a week? I saw a video, years ago, that I wish was still up. It was an Australian guy who described the Philippines as "dodos and hyenas." He meant that the men create young for others to raise (spot on) and women live by stealing and bringing the spoils back to the pack. "I want to help my family" is the war cry of the hyena. The FIRST thing you should say to any Filipina is "We will give your family exactly as much as we give mine." Problem solved.
“Well, dear, I’d like to put on 10lbs for our 10th wedding anniversary. And you’re paying”
We now live in the Philippines.
hey man very cool you found a good one bcuz when we get married we just don't know how she will change but yours had good intentions so good for her
Maturity is a hard thing to find among Filipino/as of any age.
Thank you for opening my eyes. Im really looking forward to my trip to puerto princesa.
That was a lot to unpack in one video. But, with all that said. Amen 🙏🏻
The older one may torment you for the bad men in her past...OR, a reasonable woman may blame herself for her bad choices and by comparison see you as the man god has saved and gifted to her. If the desert is tasty, used seconds are delicious.

Brutally honest, sad but true. These are true words of wisdom.
In Hawaii, young guys would be snifin’ her butt,
and whispering dump the old man. I mentioned that to her cousin, who also lives on Maui
(He got us together)
He said he would be glad to come over and smack her on the head, if I like.

I won't contribute $400 US dollars to my future Filipina wife. That's far too much. I have an American friend who gives his wife's family $50 US dollars every 2 months to just make their life easier, not to make them rich, Filipino style. The most I will allow is maybe $100 US dollars a month

Hey man, all this footage was in Cebu
Great topic today Scott,
I agree with almost everything you've said.
You think like a man. Women quickly adapt to new environments and are hardwired to take every opportunity they can.
Thanks for keeping it real.
Country gals are the best no matter where you find them, they are more down to earth and practical. If you marry a city gal they will expect more from you so they can keep up with the Joneses! Yea there are bad gals from the country as well, but chances are better of finding a good one from the country as a farmers daughter!
Hoping to move back to the Philippines, but marriage and a move in GF is not an option.

Off-topic somewhat for this video. My wife and I are in the process of moving from the Philippines to the US. I have an in-demand career and was offered a job in Canada.
After some research, I had to turn it down based on the housing prices and COL. It also sounds like the healthcare has gotten really bad up there.
