@@TrueVonne after eight years as a Nana Ohemaa...and seamstresses not knowing so cutting it 3:2:1 (wahala!) and my Twi still being not so great, I now know it is 3yd top, 2yd under...plus if the dresser isn't happy with your hips...a further waist cloth (any material under with scarves both sides). But this week I need to dress myself in London so finally got to the bottom of it - and skipping layer three (ha ha, hope Auntie Sarah doesn't guess)! Beads are the easy bit - oh my...The full piece for women is 6yd, men 12 yd (toga-style)
