  • Cardiff Rugby had a spectacular Boxing Day, crushing the Dragons 55-21 at a packed Arms Park, marking their 18th consecutive league win over their Welsh rivals. A lacklustre first half from the Dragons was no match for Cardiff's prowess, with the home team scoring nine tries in a dazzling display of rugby.
Try scorers included Rhys Carre, Tomos Williams, and James Botham, each bagging a brace, along with Ben Thomas, Kieron Assiratti, and Cam Winnett. Tinus de Beer contributed with five conversions.
The post-game celebrations were equally memorable, led by Cardiff Rugby's super fan Karl Kruger Williams. Known for his vibrant singalongs, Karl, a former bar manager at Arms Park and now the landlord at Temple Bar, steered the team in a lively Cardiff club song to the tune of The Beach Boys' ‘Sloop John B’ - even featuring one of the coaches playing the bin!
As the saying goes, if you can't celebrate after a nine-try, 50-point win, when can you? And in Wales, we never miss a chance to sing and celebrate! 🎶🍻

Glad to see that throwing your dirty shirt on a pile in the middle of the dressing room for someone else to take care of is done exactly the same in the professional league as in the low devisions
