Join my subscription course!😊 www.speakjapanesenaturally.com/ You'll learn about Japanese phonetics, such as pronunciation, rhythm, pitch accent, intonation and so on. Those knowledge will help you sound natural when speaking Japanese.
Sure, of course! I'd like my viewers to get used to kanji even if they don't know any, so I added furigana. I'm glad that it helped you too 😄 Thank you for your comment!
This video had the feel of a documentary. It's encouraging to see so many bookstores doing well, since Amazon has basically taken over the book market in the US (although many still use libraries, too)..
You're right. Small bookstores especially are disappearing in Japan as well. The bookstores in Jinbouchou have some characteristics which appeal to people, so they are still in business, but you never know what the future will bring ... 😢
Thank you so much for this video, it's hard to find a video where someone talks slowly and this is really helping me with my shadowing (which is basically repeating after you). I along with any foreigner learning Japanese really appreciate this video
Your voice is like ASMR to me. So comforting 😭♥️ Could you do more Japanese videos for intermediate or even advanced levels ? Especially the grammar and vocabulary used in natural conversations between native Japanese people.
I came here just to listen to japanese women speaking japanese..their voice is so so soft ..the way they speak is so polite..I want to marry a japanese woman...haha
This was really helpful to me who's just started learning. I've recognized a few words and meaning without looking at the video. I just played it in the background.
My new favorite sensei! I love the sound of your voice, and I very much appreciate the slow pace of the speaking and the tour. It gives me a chance to think about what is being said, and make some notes. Thank you Fumi-sensei ! 🥰
This is exactly what I was looking for! I was wishing for a video where it's kind of like... like how a mom would talk to her child and tell the child where they are going, what she is doing, etc. Not in a condescending way or anything, but just like normal conversation about what is going on, like how parents usually do with kids as they walk around. Thank you!
I am new to your channel and this one made my day! I love reading and going to bookstores and your pace and the way you narrate is so perfect ! Thank you so much ❤ Greetings from Brazil
I love these videos. Both for attentive watching and listening to while drawing. I think in the next weeks I will watch all of them multiple times in both those ways 😂 thanks for posting them! It's really helpful and the easy type of language you use really makes me feel like I'm making progress 😊
Thank you so much, even though I’m a half Japanese and both my parents are fluent, (I’ve also been going to after school japanese classes since I was 5), I still struggle and I’m not good at japanese so these videos help me so much. Thank you💖💖
@@SpeakJapaneseNaturally I Have been looking for something like this so i can continue to practice my Japanese. So i can hear it spoken in more of an every day context. I will be going to kyoto for my 5th time on january, i hope to move to japan one day :)
I'm so happy to have found your channel! How wonderful to be able to see and learn what Tokyo is like through your walking tour and narration, while improving my Japanese skill! What a wonderful way to learn! The pace of your walking and speaking is so perfect, and the Japanese and English subtitles are so helpful too! Thank you so much for creating this content! I wish you so much success!!
じんぼうちょうにいきたいです。I think I could spend a whole day looking around and stopping at cafes. I really liked the idea of a store where you can rent shelf space and sell your own books. いいね。ビデオをありがとうございました。
Thank you! I feel like I have to listen to Japanese people talking in Japanese to make myself more fluent and improve my grammar. I have many vocabularies but I'm having a hard time speaking! it's very helpful thank you ❤
My Japanese teacher introduced your video to us, and I feel it is great with English subtitles and the Hiragana, so there's nothing left for us to guess. Thank you! Your video is practical and helpful in knowing the items and how to say them, but it would be nicer if your panning speed were more gradual, so the viewing is not so tiring.
Really enjoying these walk arounds. The sound of your voice is so pleasant. Even picked up a few words that watching a Japanese movie, I know when subtitles are wrong. Long way to go. Arigato gozaimasu sensei. 🌹
Oh, you know when subtitles are wrong! I need to be careful ... I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed these videos. It encourages me to make more. Thank you for your comment!😄
This is wonderful. I love the subtitles, and bookstores are about my favorite thing ever, even if I don't expect I'll be ready to ready anything but kids picture books by the time I get there. Maybe they have some sudoku puzzle type books, or a few English ones about Japan.
thank you so much for the video! i'm new to your channel but immediately i was so thankful for the captions with furigana and your speaking pace. i also watched your video on how to say one has an allergy to something and i find your content such great quality! i'm still quite a beginner with japanese but i appreciated and enjoyed watching this video as well. please continue making wonderful and helpful videos like this, thank you~
I used work around there and later lived pretty close. There are old map stores there as well, and the music stores and sports stores are pretty close as well.
Thank you so much! I always read some articles from magazine about 2nd hand bookstore in Tokyo. It's awesome ☺️👍👍👍👍👍 I can see the real video from the street 🙂
I still don’t understand almost anything other than hiragana , but this was relaxing lol. I’ll definitely come back to this video when i learn more words
Great idea and presentation. Your voice is perfect (ASMR too). One tiny downside is that you camera auto-stabilisation makes me feel dizzy when you pan left/right. Thank you all the same (I am just in my first few days of starting to learn a little Japanese, so I’ll get back to you in a few years!). Lee
Jinbouchou will always be associated in my mind with "all you can eat pig liver." Liver was never my favorite food, but I unwittingly committed myself to going to this particular restaurant not understanding exactly what would be served simply because I heard, and only heard, the word 食べ放題. The wait to get in was over an hour but much to my astonishment was worth every minute. You wouldn't have to be vegan to find the sign, just outside the entrance, letting you know the meat they were serving had been slaughtered that morning at 10:50 am, a bit disconcerting, but like fresh sashimi, fresh pig's liver is astonishingly fabulous.
Like so many people already said, I really appreciate your videos. Thank you for the subtitles with hiragana and kanji. And English subs really help me understand as i learn. Not many videos are done well like yours with learners in mind. Really enioy your walk abouts and daily life as i learn the language. So just wanted to say my thanks ❤
Waaah I've been exactly where you were going, even the same subway exit and route and I even went into the arts store your daughter loves! Just this April, I went to Japan and Jimbouchou was the last place in Tokyo I visited before going back home ^^ Loved it! Thanks so much!
