Do you know of any existing API or platform that allows executing both market and limit orders directly from a spreadsheet or Excel file?
In Germany we don't pay taxes for cryptos which we hold longer than 1 year. Is it possible to implement a feature that shows which cryptos have reached that timeframe and are tax free? Also when selling tax free cryptos and cryptos which are not taxfree yet is it possible to make a difference between those taken profits? Like showing them seperately. It would be helpfull for a tax report. Thank you for your work.
Hi Paula - thanks for the great Tracker. Not sure if you saw my email the other day - might be in spam box? I just wanted to let you know I think Cell E35 & E36 in "ENTER TRANSCATIONS" might need a correction as in my file it shows Euro instead of USD. I had chosen USD as the currency. Same in EXIT STRATEGY sheet "Selling Point' column shows Euro instead of USD. DASHBOARD I think under Column Price any coins under 1.00 seem to show as 0 instead of identifying the number in cent in cents. Thanks again 😊

Great work, just want to check if there is possibility to increase the number of coins that can be added ? when I stretch the cells it says sheet protected
you can just unprotect, there is no password. also there is an error in the workook, I have just updated, can you download it again and copy paste your data,

On the Dashboard bottom table (Ticker,currrent prize 24% Change ,Invetment value, Acquision Cost Unrealizes profit etc)only shows 5 coins out of 100 Coins on the list. Is there anything I am missing?

Hello Paula, does this workbook work with MS Excel 2013? I've enabled the data connections to public but am receiving a "initialization of data source failed" error. Thanks.
Question Paula, trying to input data since 2017 is a nightmare. Do we have to enter each transaction along with the taxes we paid? I was hoping I could just take figures from 2023 and enter them and then add new transactions from this year. I'm a newbie so your help would be appreciated. Also, I didn't see the edit permissions from data source at beginning of your video. I'm assuming it's already set. I have the latest version of Excel, so just wondering. Thanks
Hello, I am trying to run this on an Apple Macbook and it do not seem runable. The Menu icons do not work, when I click on them the images are not highlighted. I can see the word agree to click on it. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? Thanks!

The "tokens sold2", 3 and so on isn't working for me. When I'm trying to enter the sales i did on the "transactions" page. Only "tokens sold" works. Also, thanks for this template as this could be a real game changer for me.

the documentation for coingecko api says 30 calls per second. count each coin you have as 1 call.

i have spome issues everytime i refesh the data. it took so long and a window opens like an error.. espcially in adding the coin. it is not reflecting the entry that i entered. can u please help me how to solve this issue? much appreciated
HI Paula - I love this spreadsheet and was using the old one as well. I was never able to figure out how to properly document a trade. Say I traded BTC for USDC. The I traded USDC for ETH. How would I enter these transactions?
enter the sale into the sales sheet, you can then enter the recieved amount of usdc into the purchases, because you bought usdc with btc. then enter a sale of usdc and a purchase of eth
Thanks for all of your hard work. I've entered some data for BTC, ETH and LINK. Only ETH is showing on the dashboard. I have hit Data refresh. Suggestions?

Extra coin list tab does not have a table for URL address for API. Any suggestions? Thanks for this awesome workbook!
yes I just spotted this, thanks. Here are the steps to fix it. On the extra coins list, go to the review tab, and select unprotect sheet, the on the view ribbon, make sure there is a tick beside headings. then unhide columns c and g. Then untick headings in the view ribbon and also on the review tab, select protect sheet and agree to the settings. Or you can download it again(as I have made this update) and re-enter your data(copy paste)?
The "ticker", "current price" and "24hr changes" - all show well now (no more #REF! errors)
But "Investment value", "Acquision Cost", "Series Value" "Profits taken", "COGS" - all still show the same error of #NAME?
This is after doing an initial refresh all under the data tab (i did nothing else on the chart) and then set the privacy level to public

Because when I tried to open them on both apps, I got an error on Excel saying "found a problem with this file", and on Google Sheets, it opens but I can't operate it.
the workbook is for excel 365, not google sheets, or mobile, sorry!
