You can tell the quality by simply looking at the jaws , beautiful straight machined finish . Definitely looks like it won't slip or round off like the cheaper non branded crap that abounds these days. Good to see that quality tools are still around at a reasonable price.
The endless flood of cheap tools continues which I guess is fine for home DIY people who may only ever use the tool very rarely. But when you need something that doesn't lead to you pulling your hair out and tutting this stuff feels wonderful. I won't go back to the one I had.
@@TrailTrek That is so true sadly. I work in a large DIY store and apart from a few Stanley screwdriver sets and measuring tapes, the rest is no name , they actually call it no name lol or other makes I had never heard of . We get customers asking all the time for products or former brand makes we just don't sell . I love the short you posted , class 👍
@@jimmypenn That's a shame. I mean im all about choice, so have the cheapo stuff but also the really good stuff then let the market choose. But its almost like they want to sell junk so you end up back next year for another replacement ha ha ha.
I just received the 6” last week and I gotta say it is absolutely amazing . I Definitely like the Knipex but this is the one that I will be grabbing first . Especially when I only have one hand to use . Great video .
Agreed, I have had this on my desk at work and im happy to use this or the Knippex. both are up to a very high standard where they are a pleasure to use. There is nothing worse than using horrible tools, it makes jobs more frustrating and the day feel longer then it needs to be. Mine still fine even after sitting and fiddling with the opening mechanism while im stuck on the phone at my desk.
Tik-tok have a sale on bahco adjustable spanner’s T31 is around £9.. I wish I brought 2. I just brought one to see what it was like. I’ve been using the same Am-tech cheap spanner’s for around 15 years. But I can’t find locally..
Snapon does in fact own Bahco. Bacho dies manufacturer the Snap on adjustable wrenches. The only real difference is the color and the name stamped on it. Recently though, snap on has started manufacturing the wrenches in the US with the exact same design.
Good to hear, is there anything else Bahco make that's really good? I downloaded their full catalogue and was looking through it today. www.bahco.com/int_en/media/catalogues.html
I should have done some testing on this, so far here is what I have put it through. its been heated somewhat due to being left against some hot plumbing heating pipes and survived that, in regards to substances I've only really had it subject to dirt, engine and light machine oil. and a few types of silicone for seals. Other than that i have not had any harsh chemicals on it yet.
I bought one of 5he longer handle Barco wide mouth units (mainly for plumbing issues) It's a lovely quality tool to hold & use. One of my buy a good tool & buy it once choices.
I have a full custom premium toolbox Knipex, PB Swiss, Wera etc (I just like quality stuff), and might consider getting this Bahco spanner as a backup. It seems decent. I have also heard the rumour about Bahco being rebranded Snap-on tools. might have to look into that. That said, I think the Williams brand is though a Snap-On brand…
Wow nice kit I love all my Knippex and PB swiss stuff, with were they are great but with a few tiny things id change I also like the Wiha stuff. This is my first Bahco and I can say that it feels absolutely fine in the hand with no issues. Originally I was going to get 2 Milwaukee adjustable but this one covered it all and was on sale for me at the time. Its going in my work tool bag with a set of knippex pliers wrench I got from a subscriber. I had a set of small knippex cobras before that.

How corrosion resistant is the rubber handle? How does it handle wear and tear, liquids, heat etc?
