Did this exact thing at age 32 when I found myself single but knew I wanted to have kids eventually. The first OBGYN (in issaquah) I talked with brushed me off and told me I was young and to stop worrying. After finally getting blood work done turns out I have an extremely low ovarian reserve. I’ve been struggling with infertility for the past three years. In a happy healthy committed relationship now, but insurance doesn’t cover IVF and we don’t make enough to cover the cost. I’m happy I was able to advocate to get those tests because at least we’ve been able to try for the past two years.
