The last two weeks have been amazing - so many treasures, so many marbles and really lovely sea glass after all the storms that have battered Scotland over the last few months! We had such great luck in Leven that we went back... but our eyes were cast over to Envy Bay... now that the Bawby Bridge repairs are complete, we decided to return to this favourite beach... have the storms excavated treasure here too?
Its a freezing day... we loose count of how many times we whinge about the weather - the great British pastime! Well, we'll just have to keep warm while we wait for the Summer months ahead!
We hope you enjoyed today's video... Thank you so much!

I have been laughing out loud. You two make me so happy! It is a joy to listen to you giggle over everything!❤😂 ❤🇺🇸
Aww cheers Tracy :) It was so cold that it made us laugh !
Personally, I've lost all my marbles so I would be happy to find a few on the beach. 🙂
Lol I feel like that sometimes.... having lost my marbles !
Lucky you, now snow, here in Scandinavia the snow is pouring down, so much have coming the last week that it have for ten year together. And the minus and plus are shifting every day, crazy. I want to bee in bed until spring. as alwasy very interesting to take a walk at the seaside. Have a nice weekend.
I am with you on being in bed until Spring ;) Thanks so much and hope it's getting a bit warmer in Scandinavia !
Frosted-a word which, today, refers not only to your wonderful glass finds, but also to any exposed body parts 🥶. Hope you enjoyed a warm cuppa tea. The vase bottom was so interesting- so many C marks when you held it up to the sun!
Oh it was sooo cold Joan! The vase bottom does have amazing c marks - I'll have a to add a few pieces and then put that up as a lot on our shop as promised ;) x
I love Can You See It, Star Find of the Day, and Marbles!! 😄
All our favourites too :)
Thank you both for braving the cold to share your treasures with us. I hope you thawed out okay 😀
Brrr we enjoyed a hot cup of soup later that day :) It was so cold in the wind!!!
I am not boored by what you leave behind. Imagine i am your shadow, following directly after you and i have a huge bag to carry home all the goodies 😂
Oh you would be most welcome to get your bags filled :)
@@scottishmudlarkingone day i will get there, believe me
Yay .. a new video from my favorite mudlarking couple 👏🏻👏🏻 So nice to see all your finds. Thank you taking us along on your chilly day out on the bay, Craig and Nicole.
Cheers Sheila! So glad you enjoyed the chilly day by the coast :)
Such a happy chilly day! Brain freeze day! Love the happy day out! Warm up. xxoo ♥️
Oh it felt sooo cold in that wind chill but of course nothing like the freezing temps in Canada and I think I've seen people in Texas freeze their hair for social media!!! x
I love your “can you see it” & green piece joke , I never tire of them, I can’t wait to visit Scotland and go sea glass hunting.
Thanks so much ! Can you see it is always fun, I can never see our find in the edit when Craig cuts the film ;)
Hello from Canada as always! So enjoy your channel and for quite some time now 😊 i look for rocks and beach glass on my channel, but so adore your finds! Keep well and cozy with a nice cup of tea. Cheers!
Thanks so much Cindy! So happy to hear you are enjoying our channel and warm wishes to Canada!! :) x
Was thinking the shell at 1:32 would of made a nice planter for an air-dry plant.
Oh yes! Never had an air dry plant but think they are fascinating :)
Howdy! blessings you two!🙂
Cheers Juney :)
Go to the sun!😂🥶I like that big green seaglass.
That sunny spot was actually quite nice and cosy ;) just the wind chill was baltic!
We are visiting Scotland in a couple of weeks. I am going to “drag” the family to the beach for some hunting. Your videos are getting them very excited. Thank you!
Wonderful! Happy hunting and hope you find lots of treasures :)
Great days larking guys fully enjoyed your video 💚🫡
Thanks so much!!
Awesome finds once again 👋🤗🥰💙🩵😘👍😍🩷💜
Thank you kindly :)
Wow...Nicole looked sooo cold, but glad you were able to find a few good things! That one lil piece of pottery looked like a baby deal face to me! 😊 Blessings and stay safe out there ya'll!
Baby seal face is what I meant...this Kindle has a mind of its own! Arghhh!
Hhaha yes it could have been a wee seal :) Soo cute! It was quite cold even with that thick coat on... brrr
Greetings from Montreal Canada. It's -13°C but feels like -20°C ,great finds!
Brrrr that's a lot colder than Scotland! Take care in that cold :)
It looked like a beautiful day apart from the chilly wind it was nice here in Canada today but we also had a wind chill of about -23 C. and the wind was what my grandfather used to call a "lazy wind as it would rather go straight through you than around you"....anyway you got some great finds for your efforts and hopefully some nice hot tea to warm yourselves up...looking forward to your next adventure Karl from eastern Canada
Brrr lazy wind sounds very cold Karl!! The wind chill felt very cold but know it's so much colder in Canada just now!! We did enjoy a hot cuppa and a soup later :)
Schoenes WE !
Coincidentally I just made a pendant for myself from a piece of safety glass that I found on Lake Michigan in Wisconsin! I don’t mind the rust. I think it’s fascinating!
Aww that's amazing Hansa!! Just don't get any rust on your skin , that's really all we worry about. Safety glass is fascinating for sure! x

I absolutely love Sea glass and I get mine from the beaches that surround Vancouver BC Canada and yes, this week was very cold. We had a lot of snow, more than 13in/33cm and yesterday(Jan. 19/24) it started to rain, but if it had been a little bit cooler, that rain would’ve been snow again.
Getting back to Seaglass, I found my first one at Ambleside Beach in West Vancouver and I thought for sure somebody had lost their emerald out of their ring. It was such a beautiful green and I kept it of course, and we found a few more there as well. I really loved that big shell at the beginning of the video That was broken on that one side. Oh I wish you would’ve picked it up for me and mailed it to me. I would’ve paid for everything. I absolutely love seeing one side of a shell gone so you could see the inner workings of the home that the critter lived in. that one looked like it had been cut so perfectly by knife, but it was actually nature I did it.🐚🐚😍😍
Thanks ever so much for your lovely comment! Those emerald pieces sound like the pieces we have found here , that come from an old bottle factory! Check out our video with emerald in the title!! Aww we tend not to take very many shells, and the ones we are currently collecting are for the restoration of a Victorian shell house wall...
Brrrrrr! I felt cold just watching you poor popsicle people on that freezing beach. I like that little animal face you found, though to me it looks more like a bunny face than a cat. Either way, it's very cute and I'd like to see what you could do with that.
Oh it was so chilly but we got a hot chocolate when we got home :) It could be a bunny face - just perfect for upcoming Easter!
I thought I saw a German marble to the left when you were looking at that white tile.
Oh I sure hope not ;) It would have been taken by the tides, maybe never to be seen again!!
Just a suggestion, but if you find any decent pieces of glass with metal in it that would make something interesting, to keep the edges from rusting over time, you can cover it with a thin crystal clear liquid epoxy.
You could do that if you were using epoxy. We tend to leave those pieces behind as they can also break after a while...
Let's get 12k for Valentine's
Aww thanks!!
Hey Nichole, how many drill bits do you go through ? Lovely finds!😊
Hmm I would say you can drill around 20 pieces of sea glass per drill bit - but keep it to drill pottery after 😊
@scottishmudlarking I've had a couple of very real close calls drilling! Lol definitely keeping safety shields up! Most the time it was very tiny thin pebbles sheesh! I almost gave it up! Glass much easier! Well sometimes! Love you guys!
I love you two, can you tell me where Envy bay is please? I cant find it on google maps and I may be up that way in May xx
It's up at Levenmouth - envy bay is a name we gave the area :) Fingers crossed for some great finds!
I vote bunny face.
Just in time for upcoming Easter ;)
Like happy thumbnails 😅
Thank you !
Lovely people but to much chatter fast forward so much to see any finds the jewelry is nice
Cheers :)
I vote bunny face.
:)
