I get chills when JoJo sings this. !! Anita Baker would be so proud!! I am sure she would:) I remember Anita being in awe at the Soul Train awards when Chrisette Michele and Tamia covered her songs:) She would love this. I hope she heard it!!!
The violin is like the cherry on top! The strings in this composition compliments her voice so much, her vocal aerobics wth that violin solo feels like freefalling into pure elegance- I don't even care how pretentious that may sound to some people, they'll agree when they hear this right here.

This is a great cover! Kudos to the arranger/producer, it was modern with R&B, Jazz, and hip hop infusions so that she could made it her own. Her voice is so lovely, it's depressing that she's not bigger than Rihanna, Katy Perry, or even Taylor Swift. Neither of them hold a candle to her vocals. When your voice has too much 'soul' it almost kills your chances at pop success. See Teena Marie.
