Thank. you for your podcast! I enjoy many things about it-- the projects you make and share are very inspiring, the kinds of wool fibers used in your projects are beautiful, and I love the banter between you both. Also, I am very glad that you are non-commercialized!! Thank you!!
QKN1000 Congratulations on reaching 1000 subscribers! I love listening to the two of you chat about your projects and the types of yarn you are using. I live in the Chicago area. Happy knitting. 🧶🧶🧦
QKN1000 Wonderful job of presenting an interesting and enjoyable and informative podcast! No wonder you have more than 1000 subscribers. I love watching the two of you interact. PS Happy Birthday Joy!🎂
So glad you were referred to me. I enjoyed this podcast. So sorry the Pottstown Knitout will be discontinued. I went for a number of years and it was always a good time with knitting friends and full of knitting inspiration. Look forward to viewing your other podcasts. QKN1000
I can't believe you haven't had snow in 2 years! Although I'm in iowa and i can count on one hand the snows we've had this year. I started watching when It was just just Joy, but i love th friendship between the two of you and your familiarity with each others projects. I love hearing about the yarn you use, the festivals you go to and what you purchased there. I like Joy's tutorials. It also tickles my fancy that i am named Jeanette, named after a Janet my father admired, and my sister's name is Joyce, whom i nicknamed Joy as a child.( she gave her daughter the middle name Joy because of that.) So i feel a connection there, however tenuous!🙂 t
Hi Jeanette! Yes, almost 2 years of no snow. Crazy. We are definitely feeling the effects of climate change. What a coincidence about our names! (If you believe in coincidence, *wink*) Great to hear from you.
Hi Ladies! Congratulations on your milestone. I just found you! Its nice to hear a couple of gals talking from Pennsylvania as that is where I grew up. I lived in north central PA near Williamsport.QKN1000. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your podcast. Your knits are very beautiful.!😊
Welcome to the podcast! We are glad to have you join us. When I was young my family used to travel through Williamsport on our way to Knoxville, near Wellsboro. Where do you live now?
Hey everyone, I noticed that the video goes black the last minute or so. Sorry about that! I don't know what happened! Missing are some of the beautiful sweaters from the Knit Out.
Congratulations for hitting 1000 subscribers! Loved your Urth socks, Janice, and your DNA sweater is gorgeous, Joy! The bag you bought at the Knit Out is from a sewing pattern that I just saw yesterday and had decided to add to my “must make” list. If you’re going to Forever Yarn for the Philly yarn crawl, let me know. I live 10 minutes from there. Also, I highly recommend stopping by Twist in Lahaska. It’s just another 15 minutes from Doylestown and they have lovely yarn.
Thanks! I'm looking forward to using that new knitting bag. Let me know if and when you make yours; I'd like to see how it turned out. I think we are going to both Forever Yarn and Twist on Saturday, March 16. It would be fun to see you there. I'll let you know.
QKN1000... 🎉 Congratulations on hitting 1000 subscribers!! I have been a subscriber for a year (ish), and i have watched a lot of your back episodes. I never fail to be amazed at how quickly Joy can get those huge projects done... my favorite part is seeing what she has on her needles next, since our tastes run similar. That new blanket you are doing, Persian Dreams, is something i have lusted over for years!! BTW, i am here in the middle of the country, in Kansas, in a suburb of the Kansas City metro. (And yes, i am a Chiefs fan!)
