Luke, that is awesome! I would love to see something like this in a 3d printed barrel adapter that you could put on the front of your blaster. If an ammo counter could be added along with a secondary screen like the AmmoCounter system.
Did anyone else notice he has the Rival Edge Helios drum mag on his wall in the upper left corner?! Apparently there are very very few of those that exist as there was a very small run of them for testing purposes that got leaked out, from what I've heard. Super cool to see one in a video, hopefully you do a formal review of it at some point! I'd love to see that thing in a Jupiter!
That looks really sweet. If Dr. Jones would do a version where the LED unit and the button are on the otherside, this could potentially be build into blasters and integrations to replace the Nerf Chrono barrel builds.

DZP DAVE Ice what do you run for a primary gun I have a 180 stryfe and a rapid strike back up I had a trip planned for endwar but life happens my college will hopefully do an hvz event in the fall I was really looking forward to the summer event
I was wondering , if nerf asked to buy the patent or whatever for the jupiter from you would you sell it to them and how much would you want for it , just wondering because it looks like it could actually be a real rival blaster produced by nerf with just a few minor changes , one being that crazy rate of fire, and the battery tray.
Wonder if this is the same Dr.Jones that worked on the guppydrv LED flashlight boards. Functionally it seems similar to your big Chrony and hopefully is in the $30 price range. Having a Saturnus that needs to be calibrated, I wonder if the IR emitters need calibration

This is quite cool and reminds me a lot of the saturnus from legodei. Sadly I fear that chrony numbers from this will be rejected just like the numbers from a saturnus.
I would hope he’d sell these. Lot of work to go into something he didn’t plan to produce multiples of. I would like to see it made into a barrel attachment or something tho. so you could just attach it to a blaster and not hold it.
The potential to give you live fps data jn a game, coupled with the fact that it uses the same general hardware as an ammo counter would've made it a staple in high end brushless builds
