i’m convinced the more you put on the worse ypur skin goes through. it’s not natural to be putting so much product on your face and expect clear skin. simple is better and more effective in my opinion but everyone’s different so some may benefit from more than others
@@soupafleye yess same, i started getting mask acne and it was all because of my makeup underneath it, and i always had clear skin. Since i stopped wearing makeup it's clear again and i feel so much better going out natural now

With all that concealer... that's pretty much how I use my full coverage foundation (lightly) and then I don't use concealer at all, so this is kinda the same thing. Nice.
you dont have hyperpigmentation, your skin is just slightly darker in the areas like around ur mouth which is different.its normal to have slightly darker skin in certain areas esp being black
Ok. so what I have learned from these "no foundation" videos is that I will be using a lot of concealer and various shades of concealers. Ok, got it - but will not be doing it. Not everyone has a face for no foundation - that is if they are trying to achieve the "after" look.. My personal experience from watching people become so addicted to makeup (yes including myself) is that we are out here using waaayyyyyyyy too much product. Even if you use foundation, you can use a lot less to achieve these "after" looks. Ofcourse for longevity you want to heap more on to last you through those long days - but so many of us can get away with just using less. The only people winning out here from the overuse of so many products are these companies. I think I am realizing this addiction after being home in lockdown for several months and only having to wear makeup like once a week. Mh skin is flourishing from the skincare regimens that have replaced the makeup. Just saying - I don't want to go back to putting so much product on my face - my skin does not need it. But maybe some people need it so I'm not knocking it - Just saying that a lot of the overuse of products is addiction,

OMG, been low-key looking for this technique! I'm mid 40, going on 35, and have just simply dreaded foundation. I've watched 100's of m.u. vids, but none w/o found. My mom told me about the Fenty liquid foundation and gifted me with a bottle after having my face done at Ulta. It was bitter-sweet learning about my under-tones and canceling out my green-blue veins with....I'm one of those in-between light skin, light brown black women-sooooo hard to find that natural/perfect medium cov. without looking dead, dull, ashy, pale, brown all at the same time. That was the past thanks to my gift from mom and this vid. Even tho I love the Fenty found., it IS hard to teach an old dog new tricks, I just prefer not to use it everyday. oh wow what a kind thing to say - thank you so much :’)🙏🏾 Tbh my brows have always been rather thick and naturally a rather weird shape (tho it never really bothered me until the last couple years when several guys told me I had weird eyebrows 😂). so I’ve started shaping them more with some tweezers. They’re naturally pretty far apart and patchy too so the main product I use every day is the “maybelline tattoo studio” in the color black brown (#382). It comes with a brush thingy, and if I remember correctly it cost like $8 at cvs and lasts pretty much forever. I just fill in the spaces and blend it out - trying to make it appear like my eyebrows grow closer together, like that “used to have a unibrow” sort of look lol. And maybe once a week I’ll rub some oil on my brows. But mainly it seriously is this brow tattoo product that has changed the game :D
