If the partner is abusive they must likely are also gaslighting, threatening, and making the victim feel worthless. Do some research before you tell someone "just leave then!!" And that night, he ended up taking my mom and also my best friend. Since then I've felt lost, afraid to trust people even sometimes. The cops ended up finding him a few blocks down from our house, and arrested him. But I still wish she didn't have to have to be taken from me. No 16 yr old or any age should have to go through what I did. I am now 18 and it's tough, how do you move on with your life when you have guilt and a broken heart. Yes it is a horrible miscarriage of justice when innocent people are imprisoned in this country. There is a woman in prison here in Texas who was sent to prison for the murder of her two sons, but she was innocent, and the governor of this state, Rick Perry wanted to have her executed, but thankfully she was not executed. Her husband divorced her and took their baby boy with him, and is now remarried. Her name is: Darlie Routier, and the damned cops in Rowlett, Texas did a sloppy ass job of investigating. So yes, there are way too many innocent people in prisons in this country while the ones who are really guilty of the crimes are walking free.

I remember invinting a friend to my 12/13th bday party. He wasnt wealthy but neather poor, He wasn’t in the best relationship with his parenst, they probably didnt even knew he was invited so maybe there was a little neglet there. He was known to be the wild kid with no rules and guiadance, but he was really kind and sweet and a really good friend. He had wrapped me in a fast food bag and old stuffed animal that was probably his.. I tought it was the sweetest present ever! he gave what he could and that was more than enough! I also remember telling him I loved it but he still felt bad because everybody elses presents were so fancy and I wish he knew I truly appreciated him.
