7:49 tunnels and Snow sheds are great locations to watch Stack hoods in action! Great catch!
We noticed that stack hood open up as it went by. Didn't know late-model steam engines had that capability.

This train was carrying paid passengers from Roseville, CA to Sparks, NV.
