I think the workshop item that i needed to place was deleted because my inventory was full when i took the quest is there a way to get it back

You mean the Worktable for crafting? If your inventory was full at the time, and you didn't have any storage chests yet, try opening the Housing menu with H (on Switch: left Joystick, then X), and the item should be there and you can place it from that menu. Usually, if you have Storage Chests and once you have a full inventory, items are sent to the Overflow menu and into your storage at home. Alternatively, you can buy a new Worktable at the Blacksmith's register in town for 200 Gold.

Thank you 😊 this very helpful ❤👍👍👍I just started to play after Palia came to nintendo Switch 😅 and wanted to see what it was like, and I have fun so far, but only the price on backpack, umm.. even I understand why price so high 😅 and because I been play fae farm(❤❤❤) the storages only one and make the place in the farm not look messy like so many farms game outhere where have so many storages box on the land😅

Thanks so much! Great to hear you're having fun so far! Not sure if you have seen our pinned comment, but they recently reduced the cost of the highest backpack and storage upgrades. It might still sound like a lot, but you will get there in no time!

I am new and made my 2nd general storage chest and placed it… I have no extra storage… same amount.. not sure what I need to do to get more than 800 slots?

I think you might have mixed things up, 1 regular Wooden Storage Chest has 400 slots, so if you placed 2 of them, you have a total of 800. If you want to expand the storage further, you can place up to 8 in total (in the case of the Wooden Storage Chest, that's 400 slots each).
You can also place an additional 3 Lockbox Safe Storage Chests for a total of 300 extra slots, or upgrade you regular Wooden Chests to Copper or Iron for even more space. They recently reduced the costs for the highest upgrades, so you are in luck!

Hi there! So you put down a Storage Chest and it won't let you place another one? You should be able to place up to 8 Storage Chests on your plot. Crafting Recipes for better versions of the Chests can be purchased at the register in Tish's Furniture store. Where do you get that message and what exactly are you doing when you get it?

That's the plan, but we might wait for the next Tier of storage chests before we do it, to not be outdated right away. Guessing we'll see that happening in the coming months. Any other wishes/suggestions?

only thing i wish was that you didn't have to purchase the medium chest aka copper chest to get the large one made. but you do. its so much gold. for new players. and some make bad choices or don't know how to make gold. so it will be overwhelming. i feel forthem. heck I am one of them in some ways

I hope you saw our pinned comment with the updated prices for the largest backpack/chest? They have drastically reduced the cost, it was pretty insane when we started playing and made this video. Just think about the 75.000 Gold you're saving and hopefully that makes you feel better! 😆

Yeah I’m struggling with storage but i finally have the most gold I’ve ever had (16k) and it’s 10k for the copper and it’s not even that much more storage. Sigh. Everyone says to keep like a few of everything but i never have enough room!

@@Soybeans34 It's definitely worth the upgrade, if you change all your regular storage chests with Copper, it helps a lot! Maybe sell some of the easier resources you can quickly gather if needed, like wood, copper, some plants, hide - that also gives you some extra gold and they improved the value of many items recently. Definitely go for copper!

How do you retrieve from the overflowing space??

I guess you are on Switch? Go to your inventory with "+", then click the overflow item before you go to a free space in your inventory and hit "A" (not tried it myself, though so I can't validate). On PC it's simply to drag the item out of the overflow and to a free space.

@@Pixelcave ah yeah I am on the switch, unfortunately there's nothing I could do, even with what you suggested: it doesn't work. Worse comes to worse I'll wait for an update thank you!

@Shaynatron And you did try to move things from your overflow to your character's backpack inventory? I've heard some people mistakenly tried to move things from the overflow into their storage chest instead. You can't drag items into your storage chests from overflow, just into your character inventory. Some also said opening and closing the inventory a few times would help. Sorry, that's all I could think of in terms of help!

Yes you are correct for the NS. You can move items from overflow to backpack then to storage.

@@ShaynatronI know this is pretty late but you go to the menu hitting the plus button on your switch. Click on inventory then you go to the overflow spot and click X or A to move it.
