I have no idea who that is and would also have spelled it "Tarik", as that's what it sounds like and I've not seen his name anywhere.
In general we use the letter 'q' for the arabic letter 'qaf' (which is not a 'k', but a 'voiceless uvular stop', sometimes other sounds) but obviously we would pronounce 'Tarik' in English, hence the confusion.

It's edited in after. At the taping they hold up a sign that says what the password is so the audience knows.
the audio in the studio says. "the password is" then it goes silent and the TV monitor facing the audience says the password.
