I am on the fence about the subscription to BB Pro. I agree that all will love this thing !! Thanks for the video. It helped me with the app !
I just set mine up yesterday and in a day I had about 30 birds come and my bird seed is half way down in the winter lol. I recommend it for anyone that can afford it and I’m going to recommend the 300 dollar one with solar panels. I’m getting the extra parts today and I’m planning to put mealworms and sunflower seeds in it.

WiFi signals can move through walls/windows (depending on thickness and material). The best way to test if it'll work is to stand in the spot where you want to hang your Bird Buddy with your smartphone and see if you still have a decent wifi signal at that location.
I received a Bird Buddy as a gift at Christmas 2023 and I am still looking for a feeder pole that the BB pole adapter just sits down onto. Why make a product with an adapter that doesn't fit any of the standard feeder poles? Wild Birds Unlimited has a RUclips video explaining what they call a Pull Adapter that was made to mount their Sky Cafe feeder onto. It is supposed to be a perfect fit to sit the BB adapter into. However, the video explaining how to do that was posted just in 2023 and there is no place on WBU to order it. How frustrating! You failed, Bird Buddy manufacturer!
I took a 5” cut of a 4x4, drilled hole thru center slightly larger than my birdfeeder pole (using system from wild birds unlimited). Clamp in pole beneath wood block to keep it t desired height on pole. Screwed bracket to the block of wood. Works great and a bonus is it is adjustable on the pole! I agree, t is a shame they don’t make a better mounting system…..if I were to mount it to a post or tree, the squirrels would destroy it in no time at all. Had to mount out of reach of the critters!
What do you plug the charger into? There is no wall adapter that fits the charge cord? No customer service phone #? I gave this as a gift and they are so frustrated, I am so embarrassed and super mad.
Isn’t this just the same as watching videos of birds on RUclips? I feel like the joy of having a feeder is seeing them with your own eyes? To each their own
@ there is no monthly payment unless you want feature I would never use. It does all the things with no monthly cost. Giving consumers a choice to buy unnecessary optional features isn’t a scam it is the basis of capitalism.
I agree you do not feel this once a month it’s a lot more than that. This is a fake review and I got one and you can’t get a hold of anybody to return it $300 down the drain. This is such a money racket. Imagine the money they make off a bad cameras and if they do get a return, they probably put that bad cam in a new sale and those people might not return it. I’ve been trying to return it for three weeks now and I haven’t heard anything on my email.😅
Garbage. Terrible customer service and support. Ours lasted less than 6 months. Now BB wants me to videotape the unit not accepting a charge. Additionally, do not get the solar panel. It does not keep the camera charged. It's total garbage.
My solar roof is working. It is a small company, and it took a while to get a live person, they were extremely helpful. One downside is the delay, it takes a while for it to notify me. I love looking around the world at other feeders.

Set it up now, as it can take a couple of weeks sometimes for birds to find it as well as feel comfortable using it.

Not me, but ours is up very high with no way for squirrels to get at it. But others have had squirrels on it. - Josh

Sorry that happened to you but I feel compelled to say I have an opposite experience and love my product, as do the kids who have named the regulars
Mine lasted 8 months…now won’t charge via solar….too expensive for that.
