I’ll never forget my first experience of this performance. I was just mesmerized and overwhelmed by my emotions from the beginning notes. And left still until the end. Heh, not even close. In Unforgettable Day in Gakku, he sings a note that's a solid two octaves higher than this... a whistle tone so high it'll have you questioning your sanity. Something went wrong right before it, and his voice cut out on an intended ridiculously high belt, I think, so he went for something even more spectacular to make up for it. It's one of the earliest songs he composed himself, when he was just a boy... I wanna say fourteen, but I don't remember entirely for certain.

Yes, that's Dimash's chief composer, Igor Krutoy. He specifically asked Krutoy to write a new version of "Ave Maria" for him. You can see the awe on his face at finding a singer who can cover the full range of his songs. "Stranger" and "Olimpico" are two other great examples. Also, at the end of Dimash's performance of "Sinful Passion" at New Wave, you can see Krutoy in the audience, giving him a standing ovation.
Top pitch wise it isnt even close, (because whistle register) But this is the only song he truly stays in the high range that I can think of
Dimash does sing quite a bit higher! He does have a whistle register too, so his highest note is actually a couple octaves above his highest note in this performance.

Not the highest note, he frequently used to go into the 7th octave (whistle note territory) during his performance of Unforgettable Day and his rendition of Diva Dance song. Heh, not even close. In Unforgettable Day in Gakku, he sings a note that's a solid two octaves higher than this... a whistle tone so high it'll have you questioning your sanity. Something went wrong right before it, and his voice cut out on an intended ridiculously high belt, I think, so he went for something even more spectacular to make up for it. It's one of the earliest songs he composed himself, when he was just a boy... I wanna say fourteen, but I don't remember entirely for certain.
