    Dude your channel is awesome man. When you talked about your ADHD brain moving on from thing to thing, and how we only have one life man I FELT that. I sail, make music, make videos, do photography, and work as an electrician and I still feel like I haven't found what i'm really good at.

      No one is great at something from the start. Pro tip: Pick one of those hustles that you enjoy the most and just perfect your skill. Think of a pro boxer. They didn’t become great by boxing while also rapping or doing another hustle they stuck to one thing and put in their work. I wish you all the best everyone has a different journey at a different time don’t be discouraged

    Love this. I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart. I’ve always started companies just to realize that I hated what I did. I’m currently in the 9-5 grind in the Manufactured Home Industry (Sales and Transportation). A passion of mine is video and photo editing, but what if I can outsource that and dive into Real Estate Photography and Videography.
    You’ve inspired me to do so!!! Thank you so much!

    Nice work, we started much the same! I worked 12 hour shifts in public safety (mostly nights) so I would do houses during the day, catch a 3 hour nap then work all night! Went full time back at the beginning of 2016 and never looked back. Glad to see it's working out well for you and many others, keep killing it!

    Wow! Absolutely amazing content. I'm glad I stumbled across your channel! If I may add a slightly different viewpoint as far as our services being needed during such a hot seller's market...
    In one of the presentations that I give during broker's sales meetings I mention how photos/videos/tours/etc don't sell houses, rather they are a very important component of the process. What they do, however, is sell the agent. When someone is looking to list a home they are going to look an agent's recent listings. All other things being near similar, if Billy Bob has cell phone photos and John Doe has amazing professional photos on their listings, they are probably going to go with John Doe. So helping highlight the beauty of the home is part of it, but helping home owners realize an agent goes the extra mile to get them the most for their home is an additional component (btw - it's much more polished when I present 🤣)

      It’s a great point and it’s actually something I bring up to agents when they ask how they would use the content to sell the home. My biggest clients gets every single thing for every single listing. They are the biggest in my area. Everyone knows that they will invest in their home if they sell with them. It’s all about brand. The home will sell regardless.

    Love your vids... Been a Realtor for 10 years and am now getting into Real Estate Photography. One thing I didn't factor in when buying my camera equipment was having to apparently also buy a new computer that has the capable RAM necessary for editing with Photoshop and Lightroom without getting bogged down. What would you recommend?.. I'm hearing 16GB minimum, someone else said 64GB is best and almost necessary... After spending almost $4000 in cam equipment I want to get something good but not overkill because this is getting expensive fast. Thanks in advance.

    I could relate this video to my situation right now. I work full-time, but I really want to start a real estate business. I have all the gear for video, drone, photos and even a matterport pro2. My website is pretty much done, but I'm kind of afraid to try to get clients and not be able to be available to them due to my full-time work. Also, I can't make a jump of faith because my financial situation is a mess right now and I can't afford to make less than I make at my full-time job. But as you said, I can do it after shift and weekends, before the summer ends, here gets dark 4:30 in winter.

    Hi Alex. I’m about getting in real estate photo & video. I have sigma 1424 and I seen lots of people recommended to use cpl for RE photo & video. Are you recommended to sell the 14-24 & get 16-35 instead ? Also are you recommended to use flash or brackets hdr ? I’m mostly shoot wedding so I don’t have much idea on RE photography 😂

    • @AlexSerrao
      @AlexSerrao  3 года назад

      You don’t need a polarizer to start with. A 16-35 is fantastic. If you want the 14-24 that’s great too. I don’t ever use a flash. They can be great but I’ve built a workflow that’s very efficient without flash.
