    Super insightful and I appreciate your advice and clarity. It's truly valuable! If you were to start again, from the barebones beginning, how would you go about in acquiring your first few clients?

      Thank you! I’d focus on shooting the type of properties I’d want to shoot and showcase so I’d target higher end luxury clients. Even if it was for free, just portfolio work to land those jobs. Also would reach out to local realtors, model homes, and any family friends that could help me out to shoot some properties. Thanks for watching!

    Hey Andrei, great vid as always! After watching any of your videos I always feel the urge to practice what I just watched and see the progress. I just shot my first model Thursday, pics turned out good but the vid, well, we got some work to do...LOL I will be joining your community. I just commented on a Taylor Brown vid where he showed how to video w/o a gimble, and wanted to share comment.... Cool vid, my hurdle in the RE photo industry is video but learning so much between you and Andrei.... Love how you both explain things and your passion to your profession. Thank you

    Great video, can I ask who you use to edit your images and the cost per 5 bracket exposure. I typically shoot 25-30 brackets per home so it would need to be fairly cheap to use an external editor otherwise i would be giving away most of the money I charge. Interested to know your thoughts.

      Thanks so much! I started with using a company called PhotoUp, where it was a credit based system per the amount of photos. Then I went to an overseas company called BeePec which was pretty decent for awhile. They were charing around $1-$1.50 / bracket shot I think. I also just uploaded another video in this series if you're interested as well. ruclips.net/video/4aWDlwQca7Y/видео.htmlsi=YjKtLJKATa7KSE13 Thanks for watching!

      Lightroom! But can also be done int PS. Then I just use my RE presets on the HDR photo and a few tweaks. Thanks for watching!

    Hi Andrei, I'm just starting out and the gear I have are - iPhone 15 PM and DJI Osmo Action 4. I could purchase another one and looking into Pocket 3 for a dedicated vlogging-type camera, DJI NEO or HoverAirX1 Pro for aerial drone shots, and now GoPro Max for 360 virtual walkthroughs. I know these aren't professional level equipment, but what service package do you think I can offer for real estate? I have a background as a remote RE Marketing Assistant, design, and exec support, so looking to offer media services to get new local clients. Thanks in advance!

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  17 дней назад

      Hey! Nice. I personally think what to charge isn't really based on equipment, more on experience. If you had all the equipment you listed, you could run a full media business for realtors! Just a matter of getting some opportunities to shoot and getting started. As far as what to charge though, that all varies based on your area and market, your experience level, what you'll be offering, and much more. I started by researching what other people and companies in my area were charging to get a general idea. Thanks for watching!

      @@AndreiRestrepo Thanks so much for the fast reply! I guess I was supposed to ask you which gear should be my next purchase. I'm wanting to do property videos and SM content for realtors/developers. Graphic design and some video editing is really my forte, not photography, so I figured having the gear would allow me to work with local clients. Appreciate you!

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  16 дней назад

      Oh nice! Well maybe consider leaning more into the editing stuff you do vs shooting if that’s what you like more? I think it would be cool running an editing business. Anyway, I’d go with the DJI drone and actually the IS360 cameras over the GoPro!

      @@AndreiRestrepo I do like the designing/editing part, but lots of businesses can outsource those to third world countries for cheaper pay, so I thought I could stand out more by helping businesses save time by offering Done with you services where I can assist them get the footage they need and then edit and help produce SM content. either way, I appreciate your insights and supr fast replies!!

    Hey Andrei! Question about shooting 5 bracket photos with your R6 ii. I currently replaced my R5 with the R6 ii because it was overkill for RE. I haven’t found a way to shoot 5 bracket photos with full control over the shutter when in manual mode. It only changes the aperture with all 5 bracketed photos. Which is not go for HDR blending. The only work around I have found is shooting in AV mode but then the camera changes the shutter with EV compensation automatically. It wasn’t like this on my R5. I had full manual control with my shutter when shooting bracketed photos. Have you found this to be any different coming from your R6 mark i? Thank you in advance!

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад +1

      Hey! Man, that's strange. I find it to be exactly the same like previous canon cameras! Here's how I do it, in manual mode, I setup the photo like I would for a single exposure, then go to the second sub menu to AEB, and do 2 stops apart. Either 3 or 5 bracket.

    • @brandonbrodie4547
      @brandonbrodie4547 Год назад

      @@AndreiRestrepo oh..and your aperture stays the same and only your shutter changes with each bracket?

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  11 месяцев назад

      Exactly, you never want your aperture to change. That’ll be some weird merging effects. Only shutter speed, correct!

    Right now im looking to get into real estate photography but Im not sure what equipment to buy. So far i know I will get the Mavic 3 pro cine drone, but what camera should i buy? Also should i get a 360 camera for virtual tours?

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад

      Nice! The Mavic 3 cine is way overkill though, unless you’ll get other use out of it. I use a mavic air 2 and it was more than plenty for this type of work. Do you have any camera gear already? If not, I’d like at preowned canon mirrorless cameras like the EOS R or RP along with the proper wide angle lens. Then just need a tripod, and you’re ready to go. I would hold off the 360 virtual tours until you’re doing this jobs and agents ask for them

    Hi Andre, great content and suuuper helpful for beginners. Would shooting 3 brackets at -2, 0, +2 be enough to get the job done? My budget only allows me to get a camera that doesn't go beyond -2, +2 so I was wondering what your experience/opinion is on that. Thank you for all these videos and giving free help.

    Andrei! Great video, I was wondering about your video editing process. You mentioned you have an editor. I’d like to know a bit more about that… How did you find them? What’s your arrangement on payment? I’d actually love to see a video on the topic if you feel that it’s worthy of a video.

    • @AndreiRestrepo

      Thanks so much! Yeah it was hard to find someone that could do the work like I wanted. Luckily it was a referral from another RE videographer and they’re a small local editing team that do RE videos locally in TX. But they have their own rates that worked with me, a bunch of direction to get everything where I wanted, and now it’s working great!

    Love your videos! I am a real estate agent for Century 21 located in Bowie Maryland. I want to get started with real estate photography, what would be a beginner guide? For example if you have to start over what equipment would you get, if you knew very little about camera work what would you do etc. Thanks!

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад

      Thanks so much! It's tough question to answer honestly, especially regrind budgets and such. But I'd invest in some preowned gear, like mpb.com, and look at canon mirrorless like the EOS R or RP since canon's user interface is easier than Sony's for example. Then the proper lens like a 16-35 EF F4 lens + the EF-RF adapter, and then a tripod, and you're ready to go. After that I would just learn as much as I can. You should check out my community that I mentioned in this video! It would be really valuable for you. Thanks for watching!
