I've read the statement of stance from the GC and I am flabbergasted. In one part they agree that the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Yet they believe it's fine to put something untested and dangerous into that body temple? I fail to understand that reasoning. We are held accountable by God for what we do to our bodies, or what we allow to be done to them. It seems they are following the "science falsely so called" and believing it to be safe and correct. I just praise God for the people who are willing to stand up and be counted.

Sister Julie, I am likewise appalled. Such "advisors" and "leaders" cannot possibly have investigated the origins of the cell tissues used to cultivate these viruses used in research. I warn you, it is a horrific tale, immensely cruel, and not at all what we are told. (What is, in these times?) But we should be clear that as followers of Christ we will never partake of such things, nor seek to profit from such evils.

The "church" has been too busy looking after their pocketbooks; supporting a traitorous reprobate for office. My family member said it's best to vote for the lesser of 2 evils. I don't believe that. Why choose ANY evil? That's a compromise and copout. "His will IS going to be done on Earth.." regardless of who we vote for. Murderer/liar or Traitor/liar? Who would you invite to your home? "The church has lost its savor" big time!

The head in understanding the principles of prophetic interpretation and fulfillment. The head in understanding the times and signs of the times. The head in understanding and sharing the principles and interpretations of religious liberty. The head in helping to solves the health emergency (pandemic) and health crisis that's bankrupting this country physically, mentally, socially, spiritually and financially, through the health message entrusted to us as a Church and from which we have grossly deviated. The head in many, many other ways to which we must return; proper education, agriculture, to help feed a starving world, etc.
Review from the Bible the concept of God's people being the head and not the tail. It appears in more than one scenario. JESUS is the Light of the world; ye are the light of the world. Jesus is the Son of God; we are the sons and daughters of God. Etc.Deep, NOT superficial study of the Word is needed in these days.

Isaiah 8:16 "Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples." The seal of God is the whole 10 commandments, written in our hearts by Jesus (Hebrews 8:10), which He summed up as loving God with our whole hearts and our neighbor as ourselves (Mark 12:30,31). It is foolish to think that we could "keep the Sabbath" while trampling on the rights of the concience of our neighbor, and still receive the seal of God and make it to His kingdom in this unconverted state.

This is my second time listening to this message. (July 2023) As I've pondered the Seventh-day Adventist people's response to the pestilence, I've come to a few conclusions:
    1. Members are so used to doing what Pastors advocate without due consideration to how it lines up with what God says that when the leaders advised to take the shot most everyone did it quickly.
    2. Because the members were not strong in true biblical doctrinal understanding or in the knowledge of the health principles given to our Church through the Pen of Inspiration. Had we been more diligent and humble in learning the health message, we would be able to make wiser decisions in health choices.
    3. Members must keep in mind that usually the Church organization will end up pushing the government's directives ahead of the biblical teachings. O, how we need spiritual discernment and love of truth to obey God rather than man.
    4. God has given us counsel in regard to all areas of our work and actually tells us how the work should be done. Those who receive the counsel written in 2 Chronicles 20:20 (last part) have the benefit of divine inspiration. Sadly, so many have chosen to ignore or reject the Counsels of the Spirit of God. Lord have mercy on your people.

My niece,by marriage (TN), sent me this link the other day in this early 2022, summer season. So very impressed by the message (from a my theologically- ideological Christian 7th-day Adventist rear-view perspective of COVID), I forwarded this link to my son, (KS). He has decided to take Bible studies, after being away from our Church for more than 30 years. And yes, I ask for prayers as he comes home to Jesus; but I encourage us all to continue in prayer, Bible study, service, bathed in Agape. . .knowing this issue is only part of what Jesus said the "... are beginning of sorrows", (Matthew 24:8) would be like--again, in part. Just the same, we take courage in our daily rounds of life to work faithfully Matthew --28:19--, "... for He is faithful that promised", (Hebrews 10:23). Moreover, I thank my God and Saviour that even as we experience the signs of these times, "Solos Scriptural" with Sis. E. G. White-- "...the spirit of prophecy, (Revelation 12:17, 14:12, 19:10). While John 9:4, examples & exhorts for the happenings around us, Romans 12:3, counsels our spirits by the Holy Spirit toward the Christ-like manners we will cherish as members in the body (Church); Christ Jesus ever as head. So, while we may "disagree" in matters that don't fly in the face of a clear "thus saith the Lord," we remain loving--not "disagreeable", as the "world" watches Us. . .'til Jesus comes for Us, (Hebrews 10:37)! 🙏 🌹 Praying 🙏

This preacher is so off track, firstly the Springboks were not the underdog, he needs to check his facts, secondly, never once did Jesus challenge the authorities, even during his trial but he did challenge the the church leaders, as we need to be challenging this preacher, just like the Pharisees, he has his own agenda at the peoples expence!

In a theocracy, the religious authorities are the civil authorities. Jesus challenged the Sanhedrin again and again for their perversion of God’s system of salvation and misrepresentation of God’s character. He stood for truth. So should we.

@@jc33486 Jesus was challenging the church, not the authorities. The Romans were the authority of the day and the Remnants of the iron in the legs extends to this day and to the end of time in the feet and in the clay. Barabas challenged the Romans as does trump and Putin today. They will fail becsuse we have the prophesy of Nebuchadnezzars statue. The next kingdom is that of Jesus's. So if we want relative peace, we had beter accept the Roman's authority because they ate doing the job ordained for them to do, namely to reinforce the clay and to keep the statue from tumbling. We must stop corroding the iron.

Where is the Word of God in all this pastor? Roosevelt, Mandela do you have a clue who they were and what they stood for? Unsubscribed.

I'm wondering if you listened to the entire message before you decided to unsubscribe. He quotes at least a dozen scriptures specifically from throughout the entire book of John with references to Paul, Peter, and the book of Revelation. Please listen through the entire message if you didn't before you make your conclusions.

Sadly you judged a God fearing pastor and clearly do not know what you are speaking about. Listen again...

@@discern3392 I haven't come across any EGW statement where she quoted any of the funding fathers of the USA. In contrary she made a very serious comment about Thomas Paine and his religious orientation. And let me remind you that Nelson Mandela had been persona non grata in US until Barack Obama became a president of America.

@@sharontanghal3360 I also wonder about how well you have been informed about Ted Roosevelt and Nelson Mandela and appropriateness of even mentioning their names in a sermon which is supposed to be based on the Bible.

@@888mladen I was simply answering your question when you asked where is the Word of God in the sermon. The whole message was about daring to be courageous enough to speak out against what is wrong even if it comes at a cost of division. This is pretty plain throughout scripture. Then using numerous examples from the book of John, the sermon illustrated how God leads us to situations where we have to stand up for what we believe in even when it goes against religious leaders or the majority who are teaching or doing wrong things. He used the example of the blind man Jesus healed (referring to John 9) having the boldness to speak truth even when it went against the Pharasees and religious leaders of the day. You can agree or disagree with the message but this was the whole point. It seems you're so focused on the 1 or 2 trees that you missed the big picture (the forest if you will) which was the whole heart of the message: speaking out against coercion and protecting the freedom of conscience.
