great reaction dude, there's so much to check out with these guys, i would recommend the pain remains trilogy one of the best songs I've heard probably, but anything from the pain remains album is just pure gold. Have a great one.
I think what you are running into in terms of people saying “he’s not that good, Lorna Shore are over rated” etc is people hating on him and the rest of Lorna Shore because they have become popular. There are some people that only like underground bands and turn on a band the minute they get popular. Lorna Shore have gotten popular since To the Hellfire hit the reaction channels in 2021 and the Pain Remains Trilogy more recently ( and the other songs off the Pain Remains album like Sun//Eater, Cursed to Die, Into the Earth etc). The people hating on seem to tie their identity to only listening to underground bands, and immaturity lash out when that is “threatened” (in quotes because the threat is not real).
Given that you liken EDM and some trance music. I strongly urge you to check out an artist called Kerli. If you want a stripped back song. Start with Feral Hearts. The forest session. Or if you want to jump into her dark trance stuff, go for either where the dark things are. Or the sound of where'd you go.
It would have been a sin for this not to go to the heavy side lol Man I'm just so impressed with Will. There's nothing he can't to! And yes... definitely check out more Lorna Shore man!
This is what Lorna Shore is missing imo. I love me some deathcore and screaming but when it's the entirety of the song it gets a bit tiring for me. If they broke up the screams with some clean vocals I would have them on my playlist asap
