I really like the concept of these kits. They remind me very much of mentor kits with cross stitch. Something like this would be a great tool to use if you're teaching a class on diamond painting 101 especially since the drills are grouped by canvas. Each "student" could have their own mini kit. I may have to look into getting these as pallet cleansers to do when I start to feel burnout on larger projects. I like too that they're a perfect travel size too.
I'd have to cut off the border. I mount all my Paintgem mini's onto black card as it makes the colours on the images pop. The fairy dust drills is a nice touch though 😘💚
Thanks for sharing. I do like the dust drills, they look much nicer than AB drills imo because they have extra sparkle but dont change the color so much. Unfortunately, i cant deal with the colored edges all around the image and only 2 seem to be centered properly, most ive seen are cut off center which is more obvious and harder to deal with because of the colored edges. I will remain a Paintgem girl when it comes to mini images, they do such an amazing job and have excellent quality drills. It was nice to see these unboxed though. Thank you!
I think this was a really great unboxing. It did persuade me to buy one of these kits. The Exotic Flowers one is sold out right now but I have asked to be notified. I am a high school science teacher and I think I will give these as Christmas gifts to my teacher friends.
I just love this kit. It’s amazing! I have the makeup kit to place in a collage to put above my makeup table. It’s so fun. It’s mini and you accomplish something in a flash( as diamond painting time goes). Fun stuff. They dazzle alright. Thank you so much for reviewing it.

I bought both flower styles. I see they have just shipped. I’m excited. I think the Lotus Flower is suppose to be off centered. Seems like it’s portraying a blooming shot. 🤷♀️ These are adorable. Love everything about them. That’s for sharing. ❤

I definitely will purchase one or two of these (likely the florals) when my budget is permitting, but “Pumpkin” by Kecuing Kuill (I can’t spell their name) caught my interest more and that’s all I could spend.
I bought the food one and the two flower kits. I know I am probably the only person in the world that is going to say this, but I was so happy when you said the tray was smaller. My hands are small, and while the rest of the world wants bigger, bigger, I use a small tray that I got from one of the small shops. My order isn't coming until Saturday. UGH!
Doesn't the sleeve just slide off? While this particular style of artwork isn't necessarily my thannng, I think it's great that DAC are constantly upping their game and aiming for people who either just want to dabble with diamond art, want to work on much smaller projects, give them as gifts to bring newbies over to the Sparkly Side ✨️ or allow those of us with an embedded need to diamond paint to take little 'fixes' away with us on our travels. Bravo DAC! 🥰
Do you think these will be sold in stores? I ask because I noticed the hanging tab on the box. I like them just wish they were full drills instead of partial.
It definitely looks like they’re set up to possibly be sold in stores. I don’t know of any stores they’re being sold in at the moment, but I’ll be keeping an eye out!
I’d much rather the entire canvas be white and not have that border. If I had seen that ahead I may not have ordered hmm. We will see, I have all 4 kits on the way haha

Shoot, especially with several of them being off center they will not look good framed 😢
Hopefully the one being off-center was a fluke, and I’m sure wasn’t intentional! I wouldn’t want to frame something off center either.
