French vanilla flavour mix with milk taste absolutely amazing. I usually put a scoop of whey and half bottle of milk then the rest mix it with cold water, not too creamy and not too tasteless. Love it

Whey itself has calories in it but the idea is that you need the protein. But you still factor it in to your caloric intake no matter what. If you're at a deficit, you'll lose weight.
I prefer drinking whey protein with water after workout and drink normal milk later. Earlier I was taking whey protein with milk and after doing this I started having a lot of protein farts and started having gas problems because I was taking so much protein at one time XD.
I always mix with water, (less water) and a scoop of raw oats. You need make the mix at least 90min before drinking it, so the oats hydrate (if cold water is used, lukewarm water could take less).
If you want to get big you do with whole milk before the gym.. intravenous protien & energy from the fat in the milk to fuel a long workout..... post work out hit a scoop in water to futher slather sticky protien on your torn down muscles.. have enough fuel to tear them down completely & have enough sticky protien in your blood to fill in the tears...

I like using fat free milk which is 80cal a cup and 8g protein. Im trying to lose weight and supplementing protein in my diet. If im at like a daily of 1500 kcal which extreme weight loss for my size is considered 1900cal i will have another shake but i like to enjoy it.
yes, milk for the shake is a brilliant choice for before or after a workout to gain muscle and/or weight. It’s an extra protein source which helps in repairing and growing muscles as we all know. I have milk in my protein shakes every time and much prefer it! Gaining weight however, milk or water won’t help this as such. This is dependent on your whole diet. If the weight you want to gain is muscle, milk is your best chance. If it is fat you want to gain, it won’t make too much of a difference but it’s still better than water for this too. hope this helps :)

I always consume my Whey protein with water alone. It tastes neither good nor bad. It doesn't have a taste, if I could put it that way. This being said, I'm never able to gulp it all down like I would milk or plain water.
Why would you want to? The whole point of the more clear fruit flavored stuff is that it goes better with water and isn't as milky or chalky. That stuff would taste terrible in milk. But you COULD...
